Brrrr. Yep, it’s February.
But the good thing about this month is all the fun holidays, like
Super Bowl Sunday (great game, right?), Groundhog Day, Valentine’s
Day, President’s Day (or if you celebrate the traditional birthdays
there’s Lincoln’s Birthday and Washington’s Birthday), Chinese New
Year…
… and tomorrow is International Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
(yes, really), and for all the computer geeks, Monday is Clean Out
Your Computer Day. And of course this is Black History Month.
I learned a lesson this week that might be helpful for all who
spend lots of time sitting at your computers. I’ve had the leg pain
for a few weeks, almost gone now, and in my followup appointment
with my doctor, when he found out that I indeed spend most of the
day sitting, he suggested very strongly that I need to get up every
30 minutes or so and do back stretching exercises.
And guess what? Since I’ve been doing that, things have improved
immensely.
Ah yes, I knew that, but never did that.
All the pain and weather drama and other things has made the first
5 weeks of 2015 a disaster for me as far as productivity, but I think
things are back on track now, so I’ll be trying to catch up with
things, including but not limited to the “weekly web chats”. I know
there were some who hinted that they’d be willing to be a guest, so
let’s start by asking you to contact me if you’re interested, and
we can discuss the details.
Anyhow, let’s see what’s been happening in this quiet week for the
