It’s Friday the 13th again. Last June had a Friday the 13th and
that’s the day that I landed in the hospital. This morning I
thought it would be my wife’s turn, but I think that scare has
subsided. I’ve never been superstitious, but I’m starting to
wonder.
I guess if February has a Friday the 13th, and it’s not a leap
year, then March will have one also… yikes!
Anyway, brrrrrr. That’s all I can say about this horrible weather.
A good day to stay inside where it’s warm and toasty. This almost
makes me want to move to Florida or California, except that I’d
rather have snow and cold than hurricanes or earthquakes. 
The other bad news is that I didn’t win this week’s Powerball
lottery, it was up over $500 million. I generally don’t play, but
those kind of numbers get my attention and get me thinking about
what I would do if I did win. I had some ideas, but I’ll have to
postpone them, and since someone did win this week, I’ll ignore it
again for a while.
I suppose it might be easier to work on a plan to actually earn that
kind of money than to win the lottery. What do you think?
Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, I hope the love of your life treats
you like you deserve, and if chocolate is your thing, you’ve got my
permission to indulge.
