Good morning.
I saw in the news today that for
New Jersey, where I live, it was tied
for the warmest January average
temperature since they started
measuring such things in the 1800′s.
Another sign of global warming,
they say.
All I know is that it’s been a nice
relief from typical January and
February weather, and it reached
60 degrees yesterday, and might
again today.
Big weekend and week ahead, the
Super Bowl is on Sunday, Valentine’s
Day is on Tuesday, and President’s Day
is the following week.
The state of the union speech was
this week, and the state of the union
is nobody agrees on much anymore.
Oh well, one thing we can agree on
is that AI is the hot topic on the
markets. AI this, AI that, and
nobody seems to care about much else
to a great extent.
Are you using AI now to generate
content or images?
Google’s watching, and is coming
out with their own platform to
compete with ChatGPT, called Bard,
and when they demo’ed it the other
day they let it make a huge mistake
which caused their stock price to
plummet, and Microsoft’s stock
went up quite nicely at that time.
Imagine that.
Investing can be risky, they say,
so my main investments are in my
business lately. Still risky, but
more controllable than the stock
market and crypto.
