I guess by now it’s pretty much back to school for everyone with kids
of those ages in the house. The summer has ended (unofficially), the
days are getting shorter, and there’s more traffic on the roads
because fewer are away on vacation.
You sure couldn’t tell it by the weather here, it’s back to the 90′s
and humid. Last weekend was supposed to be a horrific storm hitting
us, which made vacationers stay away from the Jersey shore on what
would have been the last big tourist weekend for the year.
But good news, Hermine veered out to sea and the weather was beautiful
other than the rip tides in the ocean. Unfortunately the merchants had
no customers since they had been scared away.
As Internet marketers we don’t have that kind of worry, do we? As long
as our servers don’t go down, we’re in business, and the whole world
can beat a path to our door 24/7, rain or shine. It’s a good thing.
Slowly but surely I’m getting back to speed. During July I was slowed
down by bronchitis. Then in August, 4 weeks ago now, my wife underwent
knee replacement surgery and I’ve been spending a lot of time caring
for her since then. But she’s getting along better now and except for
the fact that she still can’t drive for a couple more weeks, nor can
she get up and down stairs too well, we’re back to relative normal…
whatever that is… at least until she schedules the other knee to be
replaced.
I hope your summer has been beautiful, and now’s the time to finish
the year out in style and get ready for 2017.
