What a quick week this has been. My wife was discharged from the rehab
place on Tuesday, and I’m taking her to get her staples removed from
the surgical site in just a little bit. A visiting nurse has been over
to interview her/us, and a therapist was by yesterday for the first
such session.
It’s amazing how much progress she’s made on her bionic knee so far,
actually.
I’ve been trying to make healthy meals for us that she’d like, so
last night I cooked a steak and french fries and had vegetables and
fruit, more than we could eat… but it didn’t taste quite the same
as normal.
I’ve definitely renewed my admiration for those who are caregivers,
especially for long terms, and single parents. I’m worn out after
less than a week. 
In the meantime I’ve gotten little business work done except the
essentials (like this email), but there’s light at the end of the
tunnel.
