Sigh. I’m running behind again today. This has been a very
challenging week, and the weather miseries are starting to get to
me.
Did I ever tell you that I hate February?
It seems like the more I clear away the snow, the more it comes
back. My driveway barely has room now to get the cars in and out,
the end of the driveway keeps getting plowed in by the town. I got
stuck at the office yesterday because the office lot wasn’t plowed,
and I really expected I might have to stay there overnight.
Fortunately the plowing company came around 3:30.
I was so exhausted that I slept until the alarm rang this morning,
which is rare.
I think I’m depressed, and that’s not a good thing, but I got to
thinking about things…
I really could be retired, and not do what I do (writing new books,
the forum, the promotions, all that).
But I do it because not only do I enjoy it, but mainly because I
enjoy doing what I think will help people in their business, which
translates into their lives.
And then I look around and see that a book I was really excited
about, and got some comments like “your best work ever”, not a
single 1-day challenge posted in the forum has happened… yet.
I’m sure there will be, but not yet.
Also very few comments about the 6 in 6 Coaching since October, and
I spent a boatload of money to bring them to the E1K members, not
to mention the time I’m investing into creating the notes for them,
I was very excited, and I don’t even know if anyone’s viewing them.
I’m not trying to place a guilt trip on anyone, but it does tend to
get depressing, you know?
What can we do to shake things up? I thought coaching access, I
thought challenges, I thought the book on product creation might
get some excitement…
I’d really like to know what you think. Let’s rock out the forum
discussions this week, and like the snow, my depression will melt
away as well.
