Earn1KaDay seminar update:
A new speaker was added to the agenda this week. Ron Davies
contacted me and said he’d love to participate, he’s a friend of
Craig Beckta’s, and will be talking about using WordPress as an
advanced marketing platform, I think that should be pretty
interesting myself.
Ron’s an IM veteran, if you haven’t heard of him, one of his claims
to fame is the Clickbank Mall, he has a membership site with over
5000 members, Here’s his official bio:

Yet another major networking opportunity. In fact, Ron said he’s
to play a round of golf while’s down there if anyone else is

problem. Since we haven’t been able to get ahold of Steven Resell

Yes, we have the video series available in the download area,
Andrew’s is certainly for those that prefer to read (like me),
especially on a step by step plan. His special price for members
is pretty attractive as well.

We’ve had group challenges before, and they’ve been pretty
successful. There were at least 2 or 3 MMS challenges, out of one
of them Gary Nave did 100 MMS’s in a week and his income increased
big time. Others did very well.
And we had the article marketing challenges.
Now I’m proposing a video marketing challenge. For those of you
that want to participate, I’ve designated the month of January as
the month. How many videos can you make? How about at least 1 a
day (30 for the month? They don’t have to be long, in fact they
shouldn’t be.
Do product reviews. Put them on your squeeze pages. Do how to
videos. Put them on YouTube, or sell an entire series on eBay
(after burning it to a DVD), or as a WSO. Maybe you have a resell
rights product, why not add a series of videos to it to explain it
that way, and add value? Then from that source, you can extract the
audio portion and have the mp3′s for podcasts. Lots of different
things you can do.
There should be no excuses. Don’t have Camtasia? Well, two
things. One is you can use Windows Movie Maker, or I suspect Mac
users have an equivalent. Or even better, download the trial
version of Camtasia, you get 30 days before you have to pay for it
or quit using it. By the end of the challenge you’ll have so many
videos done, and hopefully making you income, that you’ll be able
to afford it.
Or buy it this year and use the price as a tax deductible business
expense (contact your advisor for confirmation, but at least in the
U.S. I’m sure if you have business income, you can use it as a
business expense).

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.
