I Hope Your Week Wasn’t as Challenging as Mine …

by 5buckguy

The best thing I can say about this week is it’s been challenging,
and I’m still here, more on that later.

Here are this week’s new downloads:

That’s it for this week, I’ve been pretty unproductive, and the
Warrior Forum was out of service for more than a day, so I have a
lot of catching up to do on acquiring new stuff. Look for a bunch
next week, I think.

Forum highlights:

The definite highlight, in my opinion, is in this thread:

… where Steven is challenging all members to set up a 90 day plan
which could be life changing. It will take some planning, it will
take some action, it could definitely be the best thing you could
do for your IM career if you’re currently struggling or unhappy
with your results.

The challenge starts today, August 1st, so it’s not too late to
start off with the rest of the members that are taking part. If
you don’t mind sharing as you make progress, use the Personal
Challenge portion of the forum. Don’t be shy about that, I assure
you it will help, and might just the the best way to motivate
yourself to go through with your plan for the full 90 days.

For MMS builders or anyone using the eBay affiliate program, there
was a report this morning of eBay changing the way it calculates
commissions for new registrations:

It’s too early to panic, in fact I suspect that our business model
will end up getting rates at the medium tier, which is actually a
raise from $25 each to $28 each, but those driving low quality
registrations to eBay could get only $1 each. I doubt we’ll fall
into that category, but eBay is being vague about how the tiers
will be calculated.

Now, for my problems, which has made this week a challenge, and
consequently shortened my normal email to this size, is that I came
into the office on Monday and was met with a blank monitor. I
tried rebotting my computer and all I heard was grinding on the
hard disk. It was gone, I did have a tech guy come and try some
things, no luck. I did take the suggestion to freeze the HD, no
luck. So I have a new computer and the unhappy task of recreating
some stuff that wasn’t backed up.

Yes, I should have known better about backing up religiously, in
fact there was a thread just recently about the fact that losing a
hard drive isn’t just possible, it’s inevitable. So take my advice,
you don’t want to go through the stress I went through this week,
and get your important files backed up somewhere external today,
before you forget like I did.

So that’s pretty much consumed my week, I had planned on taking
some action on the courses I mentioned last week, that’s still on
the list, and once I get caught up, it might be the most important
thing I have going. I’m committed to making that happen, I think
you’ll be happy with the results.

Thanks for reading, and as always I wish you the absolute best of
everything in your life.

Dennis, the 5 Bucks a Day Guy.
