We’ve sort of reached the end of February,
save for tomorrow which is Leap Day.
I’m always happy to see March arrive, even
though the weather is still not great, and
can often be much worse than January and
February, but there’s spring coming, and
daylight savings time beginning, and the
trees and flowere starting to bloom soon.
February has been a good month weather
wise here, but this week has seen a blood
bath in the financial markets, as you’ve
probably noticed.
I was comforted in reading today that
this type of correction is normal, and
the only question is how long will it
continue.
So I won’t panic, even though I’m at
the point where my wife and I have to
take distributions from our IRAs rather
than be adding to them, so it’s a bad
time to be doing that.
What is more concerning is that the
financial instability is being caused
by the virus that is going from country
to country, with no vaccine available
yet.
Hopefully that will change soon, and I
pray for those who are directly impacted
by this horrible disease or the fallout
from the impact on the world.
There’s talk now that the Olympics will
be cancelled, so that’s significant.
Anyway, all I can do is to do what I’ve
done for 20+ years, which is do my best
to give value to those who want to earn
money by marketing online from home.
Then those people might be able to
stay quarantined in their homes and not
risk infection from the outside world.
Oh, and I’ll pay more attention to
washing my hands after I’ve been out
and about.
