Well, the start of winter-type weather in the
northeast U.S. arrived yesterday.
Unfortunately my wife had an appointment
scheduled to remove the staples from her
recent operation, so I drove her in the
afternoon, with a forecast of 1-2 inches
of snow possible later in the day.
It came early, and quite a bit more than
anyone had predicted, so the trip back home,
4 miles, maybe 90 minutes. Insanity.
The good news was that the doctor said
that my wife was healing remarkably well,
so that lightened the misery quite nicely.
Good and bad, in life and in business, it
ebbs and flows, and you have to ride it out.
I see too many get frustrated in their
early stages when they hit a roadblock.
If I would have let a roadblock, even 2 or
3 or 50 of them stop me, I’d probably be
homeless right now.
Don’t let it get you down… but you are
one of the wise ones already, so I don’t
need to tell you that.
Reminders are always good, though.
