Happy Star Wars Day today, and Cinco de Mayo
tomorrow, if you celebrate either or both.
We’re now in the 5th month of the year. How is
it going for you, relative to what you wanted
to be happening by now when you set your 2018
goals?
Have you planned what you expect to accomplish
in the next 2, 5, or 8 months (by the end of
the year in the latter case)?
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
2 nights ago, while in bed, I woke up with an
idea, and the more I thought about it, the
more I loved it.
I planned an entire product offer, which
consists of several moving parts, and planned
what sales pages I’d need, etc.
All in my head in the middle of the night.
The problem was that I didn’t do what I
knew I should do, which was to get up, write
the ideas down, and then deal with them in
the morning.
Instead I tossed and turned and thought and
planned, and didn’t stop until I finally fell
asleep at about 5:30 a.m., a half hour before
I normally wake up to start the day.
Luckily I didn’t forget what I had planned
during the night, and wrote it down where it
can’t get lost, so it’s safe.
The plan is to have a big ticket item
ready to launch within 2 months.
Let’s see what happens. Stay tuned.
