How are you doing today? I hope everything is
going your way, without any roadblocks or speed
bumps in your way.
But remember, life doesn’t always happen that
way, so if you did encounter one or the other
recently, it’s not the end of the world.
As long as you continue to make incremental
progress towards your goals, 2 steps forward
and 1 step back isn’t a horrible thing, is it?
I know, it’s frustrating, but inaction, which
is 0 steps forward and 0 steps back, is even
worse.
And failure is your friend.
Think big. And then break down the big project
into a smaller set of bite-sized steps, whether
it’s 10 or 20 or 50, to complete the project.
And then do 1 step today, 1 step tomorrow,
and before you know it… done!
I wrote inside 5 Bucks a Day the theory
of eating an elephant 1 bite at a time,
remember? True, that would be more than
50 bites, but still…
To make it even more inevitable, use Action
Enforcer (download it from inside the forum
if you haven’t already), put the daily steps
into your daily timer groups, and make sure
you do the step first, before anything else.
Plus, if you have extra time at the end of
your day, do another step.
Easier said than done? Maybe. Maybe not.
Try it and see for yourself.
