Good morning, or afternoon or evening. Welcome
back to the 500-somethingth issue of the Earn1KaDay
weekly updates.
I hope your week has been going well. Mine has
been great, and I’m looking forward to Monday,
which is when my wife is scheduled to be released
from the rehab place to come home…
… and then on Tuesday she has an appointment
with her surgeon to hopefully determine how long
she has to wait to get her kneecap put back in.
Life will be tough for her in the meantime, but
fortunately, I can work from home if the need
arises, like in a case like this, so that I can
fetch the stuff she can’t get to.
We had a discussion in the Facebook group about
what people would be doing if the Internet didn’t
exist yet.
That’s a frightening thought, isn’t it? I for one
have no idea what would have happened to me after
I racked up all that debt from my retail store.
At that point in my life my programming skills
had evaporated or become worth little, and even
if I could have adapted and learned, just the
monthly interest on the debt would have left
very little from my paycheck.
So the Internet saved me from possibly becoming
homeless, or worse.
We live in great times, with unlimited potential,
don’t we?
Which leads me to a question which I hope doesn’t
embarrass you… are you at least on the way to
reaching YOUR potential? If not…
… well, I’d say there’s still time, but how
much time do any of us still have?
Another frightening thought, right? All we can
do is be as productive and wise with the 24 hours
that we have at our disposal today, and then
lather, rinse, and repeat for tomorrow.
But as I said, times are great, and there is
potentially untold fortune awaiting each and
every one of us, if we pursue it vigorously.
