Here we are… September… sigh. The summer is all but
over once again. It always seems way too short, and the
cold weather seems all too long.
I guess the first half of September will be pretty nice
still, but it won’t be long before the leaves start to
fall and there are frost warnings.
Last winter was very forgettable because my wife spent
much of it in and out of hospitals and rehab places.
Unfortunately, it’s happening again, as she needs to
undergo at least 2 more operations on her left knee
again to get rid of infection that happened after last
years knee replacements.
We’ve been told that she might be on antibiotics for
a long time, if not for life, because antibiotics
can’t cure an infection on a plastic replacement
part, or something like that, so they’ll be used to
prevent the infection from starting.
Anyway, it will be a long winter again.
But counting our blessings, things could be much
worse, as evidenced by the damage and destruction
done by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and the surrounding
area. My prayers go out to those affected, and we’re
planning a fundraiser for Labor Day to help as much
as we can.
Barb Ling and I will be donating our entire profits
from Warrior Plus that day to one or more of the
relief charities, and we hope those profits are
huge, with affiliate help. We’ll try to give it a
jump start by having an affiliate contest for that
day.
I’ll provide more details this weekend.
