I hope your week was wonderful.
I mentioned that my wife was having knee replacement surgery last
Friday, and yes, she did just that. It went well, according to the
surgeon, and after 2 days in the hospital she went to a rehab place
that we had picked out in advance.
She’s actually doing very well, but it’s still a long road to normalcy
yet. She’ll be discharged on Tuesday unless something happens to
prevent it… and then we’ll start planning the surgery on the other
knee.
I do appreciate all the kind words and wishes.
So… I’ve been trying to keep up with things, along with driving back
and forth to visit my wife in rehab, as well as get the house ready
for her return, including some minor modifications for bathroom safety
reasons. So far, so good.
How have you been? I hope you’re well on the way to reaching your 2016
goals and are starting to plan out 2017. It’s never too early.
