July and now August have been challenging for me. First I had health
issues that I think were the result of too much stress (various
reasons), including the biggie coming up next week, which will be my
wife’s knee replacement surgery.
Through all the preparations she’s been a real trooper, but yesterday,
as were driving down to the condo for the last time in a while because
of the rehab coming up, she sounded worried, saying that they were
going to open her up and take apart her leg.
But yes, she knows it will go well, the doctor is very experienced,
and she has a lot of friends who have had the same surgery done. Still
and all, when it’s you, it’s different, isn’t it?
So with the surgery being next Friday, I’ll probably send the weekly
update a day early, or skip it. If you read these, you’ll know when I
know.
