I feel like I’ve turned a corner for some reason, mostly because the
tax preparation season is now behind me. I always say I’m going to get
them done early each year, and each year I put it off until the last
week or so.
Next year, I’ll do them early, but that’s next year. 
So now I can focus again on earning for my own business, not theirs. I
think it’s spooky that they named our tax people “the IRS” because if
you leave the space out, what do you get? Sometimes it seems like
that’s what they assume our income is, but at least we get to keep
some of it.
