Happy Friday to you, I hope this has been a great week for you.
As you might know, I’ve been concerned at the lack of activity in the
forum, at least relative to prior times, and am always looking to
generate more enthusiasm.
I know that a lot of our members have used the forum in the past to
get answers and help others, and have grown their businesses to the
point where there just isn’t as much time in the day to use our
resources like there used to be… or maybe just not as much need to
use the forum for answers.
That’s actually a good thing, and what I wanted to see happen when I
started the Earn1KaDay site. The original intent was, and still is, to
have enough information and resources to inspire members to reach their
first $1000 day in profits.
The theory always was that once someone had that 1K day the first time,
many more would follow with much less effort.
And I know that the Facebook group, which was designed to be an
offshoot of the forum, has taken away a large part of the forum
audience (not a bad thing, but a thing nonetheless). After all, the
main contributors to the Facebook group are forum members also,
and my intent was to be available to them in a spot where they
tend to hang out, which is Facebook.
And I know that many long time forum members, especially those who
joined for lifetime access (which is probably a large majority), are
doing different things in their businesses, or have their systems on
autopilot and aren’t looking for new answers.
Maybe they come to download the weekly additions to the download area,
and just to make sure they haven’t missed anything important, and
that’s awesome.
But there is still a lot of activity of people looking, even if not
posting, on a weekly basis, and I’d like to encourage more posting.
There are a lot of brilliant and successful people in our midst.
One of our long time members, Jenn Dize, suggested to me this week
that I set up an “Ask Me Anything” section in the forum, similar to
one on Reddit. Since I’m not personally on Reddit, I checked it out,
and thought that would be fantastic for us to model.
So this week I added a new section, titled Ask Me Anything, here:

Anyone who wants to offer their expertise and answer questions from
others should post a thread there, and get the conversation started.
And if you’re looking for an answer to a particular type of question,
I’ll bet someone here could help you, so add your question in the
appropriate expert’s thread.
Also, sort of on that topic, over the years I’ve continued to add new
sections to the forum. In the last several years, most of them were
added at the request and suggestion of members, and some of those
sections have been relatively abandoned.
I do sometimes cringe when I look down the list, see a lot of old
dates for last post, and think that new members might come in and
think that the forum is a relative ghost town, when compared with
a place like the Warrior Forum. That needs to change, but I can’t
do it alone.
I’d like to prune down the forum sections so that there isn’t such a
long list. It would help me a lot if you look through the sections,
especially the ones that haven’t been posted to in a while, and if you
think it should stay, start a discussion in that section, or reply to
one that’s already been started.
Otherwise, it will be an indication that a section has had its day in
the sunshine and now needs to be retired, much like the original Mini
Money Sites section, which was the top trafficked section of all in
the beginning, but faded away when things changed.
I can remember when the Pay Per Click Marketing section was pretty
hot, but it hasn’t been posted to since April 2014. So take a look,
post your thoughts in the sections that you don’t want put out to
pasture, and in the near future I’ll do some pruning.

that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after all.
We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge there if you
want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other, and share with

a lot of that happening.
