Summer just keeps on hanging around, beautifully. This has been one of
the nicest stretches of weather that I can remember in many, many years.
Not oppressively hot, humidity at reasonable levels, not a lot of rain
(though rain is nice from time to time).
But on the flip side, Labor Day is next weekend, which is the unofficial
end to summer that began unofficially on Memorial Day, and we’re already
getting the signals that the seasons are changing, a.k.a. it’s now dark
when I wake up at 5:30 a.m., so that means that the busy holiday season
is coming. Are you ready with your niche sites… Halloween,
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, MLB World Series, NFL Super Bowl,
Valentine’s Day?
It’s not too soon. 
On another note, I understand that I’m not the only one who detests the
new Aweber interface. I’ve identified and heard about several problems
that it’s caused, and it’s causing me to spend extra time in getting
these emails out to you. If you use Aweber and had an issue with the
changes they forced on their paying subscribers, please do what I did
and send them a support ticket with your feedback.

Special announcements:
I’ve been working almost non-stop on improvements to The IM Inside
Track, mainly affiliate aids, in addition to the daily content.
One of them is the rebrandable version of Unlock the Power in You, which
you can and should use to give away with your affiliate links embedded.
It can’t hurt, and you might be surprised at the income that it
generates.
Also, and this is the first I’ve mentioned it publicly, I just made a
major change yesterday. Now, whenever someone joins they, along with the
referring affiliate, are automatically credited with 5 credits which are
good to spend in the IMIT Credit Store (which mirrors the IMIT
Marketplace).
And oh yeah, I created the IMIT Credit Store, which is new.
That means that for the price of $1.99/month, they can get one of my
books or other products free, and there are products normally priced as
high as $77 (real value) in the store. If they join with the annual
plan, they get 20 credits, and each product will cost them just 5
credits.
The affiliate also gets the same number of credits.
This does two things that benefit affiliates. One, it should improve
conversions, and gives you something additional to presell in your email
promos, and two, it gets new members looking at the marketplace, and
once they’ve spent their free credits, they might want something else
also, and if they make an additional purchase you’ll get commissions.
And yes, it has a temporary side effect of shifting sales from a higher
priced item to one that is less expensive, but the conversions should be
much lower and the number of backend sales that you’ll receive commissions
for should be much higher overall.
If you’re a product creator, I would suggest putting a promo for IMIT on
your thank you page, and give a way an “unannounced bonus” which is the
rebranded Unlock the Power in You.
More affiliates aids coming soon, including email swipe copy.
But please don’t mention that the free credits is a permanent thing, I’m
not sure if it will last forever, so you can say for now that it’s a
short term promotion, which will add to the urgency to join.
