Before I forget, Sunday is Mother’s Day in the U.S., so I hope all
you moms and your moms relax and get pampered in the manner you
and they deserve.
The weather around me has been absolutely spectacular. Warm during
the day, cool at night, the trees are blooming and flowering.
I hope everything is equally wonderful in your part of the planet
as well, and that you take some time to enjoy it rather than
staying cooped up inside at the computer all day.
Well… I finally pulled the plug on my resistance to mobile
phones. I signed up for a wifi only plan, at $9.95/month. It only
allowed me to choose a Moto G (android) phone, but it’s enough to
play with and decide if I want to get a real cell plan.
So no longer can I say I’m the last person on earth without a
smartphone. 
And now I can take advantage of all those wonderful phone apps
that I’ve been hearing about.
