So here we are again… a new year… new opportunities… new
resolutions.
What will become of it and them?
I was thinking recently that we never know when we’ll see our last
new year come in, and much as we believe we’ll finish this one and
reach all our goals and meet back here again next year at this
time…
… one or the other might not happen.
So this year I resolve to act as if this is my last chance to make
a difference, to build a legacy, to make a positive change in
someone’s life.
My motto going forward is: Think Big and Inspire
I registered that domain name, but it’s still a blank canvas. At
this point, with 364 days left including this one, I have plenty of
time to make it bright and bold…
… or do I?
2014 was the year when I realized that I’m not immortal. When I was
in that emergency room in June and blood was pouring out of me
non-stop, I thought to myself that I wasn’t going to survive that
day.
Some amazing people drew their last breath during 2014, some we’ve
heard of and were sad about, many others that we never heard of but
were still amazing in their own way.
I wasn’t ready. I have more to do. I thank God that I’ve been given
that chance, however long, however short.
So let’s get started.
There’s no time to waste.
