Fewer than 5 days left to 2013. Wow.
How many of your “I’m going to’s” became “I wish I would have’s”?
That’s OK to some extent because failure is your friend, but if
someone procrastinates on taking action for no valid reason…
well… nuts to that.
Failure is a friend because you’ve tried something that didn’t
quite work the way you wanted it to, and you give up in favor of
doing something else, or the same thing in a different way…
so in failing you’ve learned something valuable which enables
you to move forward.
But failure is not your friend if you don’t learn anything from it,
and if you don’t give it your best shot by taking action, then you
won’t (learn anything).
Personally I’m disappointed that some things that I wanted to
accomplish this year didn’t get done.
Sure, E1K membership increased nicely. And I think the value inside
has taken a quantum leap forward… but I wanted to make it even
more so, to the point of justifying a higher monthly price by the
end of the year… that didn’t happen… yet.
And sure, I published 11 new books/reports (including a couple that
were actually rewritten from PLR) of relative significance, on top
of the Super Vault and the Video PLR Vault and getting the license
to put 6 in 6 Coaching into E1K, but there are a handful of books
not quite ready yet, that could have been.
And a fair number of the ones that did get published in ebook form
were ones that I wanted to get up on Kindle and/or Createspace, in
order to start a passive income stream, but didn’t.
And the third and maybe final book in the “5 Bucks a Day” series
didn’t get finished… yet.
And even with the greatest intentions that I had to start a
coaching program of some type (group and/or one on one), I didn’t
feel ready to pull the trigger in 2013 like I wanted. Maybe the
time just wasn’t right, I don’t know, but that time could come
along sometime soon… if I can convince myself that I can give 10
times the price in terms of value, without causing undue stress on
myself in the process.
So yeah, I’m disappointed, but I’m also happy, and it gives me
something to do next year.
After all, there’s nothing like having something to do when you
wake up in the morning, you know?
