Quite a news week around these parts of the world (northern New
Jersey)…
A shooter at one of the largest shopping malls in the country
(Garden State Plaza in Paramus, close to me) caused a panic for
several hours the other night, thank goodness the only fatality was
to the shooter himself.
Governor Christie was reelected in a landslide and immediately
seems to be running for President, though he won’t say so.
My granddaughter’s 2nd birthday is tomorrow, but the party was
postponed because she and both parents are sick.
Barb Ling’s long awaited surgery is happening about the time I
write these words, best wishes to her, or as she would say it “best
of skill” to her surgeon in nearby Hackensack.
Twitter’s IPO certainly was more impressive than Facebook’s, what
does that tell you?
And my new book was released, followed quickly by a title change
thanks to an early reader that told me the book was good but not
the title.
I was also soundly criticized for having the price so low, making
some affiliates hesitant to promote it. What do you think? Has it
come to the point where lower priced products that convert well are
shunned by affiliates? What’s more important, getting something in
the hands of people at an affordable price, or showing a belief in
the value so that others will mention it (and thus probably getting
more copies sold and creating the desired change in more readers?).
I think I just answered my own question, actually. In any event,
