It’s been a long week, and explains in part why you’re getting this
email later in the day than is normal.
My wife wasn’t feeling well when we were down at the shore last
weekend, feeling very faint, which came and went.
We drove home Monday and things weren’t any better so I took her to
the doctor, and he ordered an ambulance to go to the emergency room
because of dangerously low blood pressure.
She was admitted, and monitored (in intensive care for the first
day), and the initial diagnosis was an infection, maybe a slight
case of the flu, which her body should have fought, but it was
too weak, according to her hospital doctor, because of “mismanagement
of prescription medications”. For example she was taking, unknowingly,
high blood pressure pills which she thought had been discontinued,
but it was one under a name not recognizable.
And her thyroid medication was way too high of a dosage.
And a water pill left her dehydrated even though she was drinking
plenty of water.
So that cleared up, but in experimenting with the medications, the
hospital took her off a couple that she really needed, which caused
her feet to swell and become so painful she couldn’t walk. She’s
home now, taking fewer pills, still unable to walk unassisted, and
I’m working at home keeping tabs and helping her between the
bedroom, the bathroom, the TV room, and the kitchen.
This gives me increased appreciation for all the people that are
parents or caregivers of those who have challenging disabilities of
any kind. I know my wife will improve soon, I couldn’t imagine
doing this without an end in sight. If you have that to deal with,
my prayers go out to you.
July and August have been incredibly challenging with my travel to
the E1KaD seminar, the NAMS seminar, and now this, and I’ve been
accumulating products almost ready, but not quite, to launch, as
well as in the midst of JV deals with several people… all behind
schedule, but I’m very excited about what is almost ready to launch
in the coming weeks. I’ve done my best to keep up with the forum
and Facebook group as the highest priority.
So stay tuned, but for now, let’s see what’s been happening in the
forum.

Special announcement:
One of the things I’m behind on is final proofreading and writing
of the foreword for the 2013 “What Happened in Vegas… Changes
Everything” book, and the plan was to distribute it free of charge
to those who purchased the seminar recordings, as well as speakers
and attendees, of course.
I previously announced that once the book was ready, the price
of the recordings will increase from $47 to something higher,
probably $67 or $77.
