[Earn1KaDay] 4 weeks from now, breakthrough challenges, updates…

Welcome to the weekend. Are you celebrating father’s day this
weekend? If so, enjoy it.

The weather in this part of the planet has been none too
spectacular, rain, rain, rain, and considering the calendar, not
very warm at all. But the weekend is predicted to be much nicer, so
I’m looking forward to that.

Exactly 4 weeks from today will kick off the 5th annual Earn1KaDay
seminar. Are you coming? I’ve been working on final details and
will be asking speakers for the titles and descriptions of their
presentations and early returns are amazing indeed. This could,
believe it or not, be the best one ever.

I’ve even added a new speaker to the agenda this week, very
exciting indeed, plus I’m working to get more star power in the
audience so that other attendees have more networking opportunities
at breaks and lunches, during the meet and greet session, in the
group mastermind, and of course, on the party bus.

I’ve said after every seminar, this might be the last one ever, and
I’m saying that again, though I hope it won’t be. It’s a lot of
work and stress, but oh so satisfying when it’s over.

But you never know.

Actually you never know about anything.

The hotel called me to firm up the menus last week, but it was a
new voice on the other end. I had actually emailed my long time
contact at the Tuscany about that a while ago and hadn’t heard
back, so I asked the lady who called if the manager had received my
email.

She paused, and I could hear the emotion in her voice when she said
“Jimmy passed away last week. He died in his sleep, at the age of
55, totally unexpectedly, and we’re all still in shock.”

55 years old, in reasonably good health as far as I could tell and
they could tell, and a wonderful man who I’ll miss seeing when I
get there.

Life happens, and it isn’t always fair, so we have to take
advantage of our opportunities.

Every year people say to me, I really want to go to the seminar,
but it’s not convenient this year, I can’t afford it, I’ll
definitely make it next year though.

I can’t guarantee you a next year, I can’t even guarantee that I’ll
be here next year, or you’ll be here next year, though odds are
great that we will be. The odds are also great that next year won’t
top this year’s speaker lineup, or that the date will be any more
convenient.

What happens at this year’s seminar will jump start the future for
some people, maybe you… but not if you’re not there.

I hope you can make it this year, because every time there are
people who come up to me afterwards and say “this event was life
changing”.

That’s why I’ve kept doing it for 5 years now, and if I stop
hearing those words, I’ll stop doing them.

We’ve got an all star lineup of speakers and there will be even
more opportunities to meet people that can indeed change your life.

Yes, you can expect that there will be recordings of what happens
on stage, but there will be no recordings of the group mastermind,
no recordings of what happens in lunches, no hands to shake or
stories to tell or jokes and puns to laugh at or business cards to
exchange. There will be no late night conversations in the bar or
early morning coffee in the restaurant, or going out to dinner with
new friends.

No new friends at all… friends that could someday make a big
difference to you and to them…

I could tell stories for pages and pages about partnerships and
deals and products and success that got started at our past events,
but I’ll save that for another day. The point is…

The recordings won’t be the same, and won’t change your life. Yes,
they’ll have amazing information on them, but again… not the same.

Another call out for breakthrough challenges. Did you start one and
forget about it? Or haven’t you started yours yet?

We are all hugely capable of making great things happen, but they
don’t happen without taking step by step action. The first step
will be to decide what you want to accomplish and commit to it.

The next step will be to actually start taking those baby steps,
which will lead eventually, to successful completion. The enormity
of your goal will determine how many steps there are in between,
but as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west,
incremental progress will get you to where you’re destined to be.

Don’t risk growing old and saying “I wish I would have ______ when
I had the chance”. You have the chance. Start.
