Imagine you woke up today, walked outside to pick up the newspaper,
and it was dark, and cold, and rainy.
Ever have a day start like that? I know I have.
Imagine that every day was like that… dark, cold, rainy,
depressing.
No fun, right?
Let’s talk today about something that would be more fun.
Imagine that you can bring light and warmth and happiness into
someone’s day or someone’s life.
That you can make a difference to them, whether just briefly or for
long term.
You probably do already, to your family, your (if you have them)
spouse and children.
But imagine if you can make that difference to people you’ve never
even met, maybe don’t even know.
Lots of people can do that… teachers, doctors and nurses, first
responders, religious leaders, writers and performers, and…
I know I’m probably leaving out a bunch of groups, and no offense
intended, but one group you might not think of is…
Internet marketers
Yes, us. You and me.
We have the ability to even go beyond some of the others in what we
can do.
We can change lives permanently, more than just for an hour or a
day or a week.
I don’t consider myself special, but people have told me that
something I’ve done or something I’ve written or something I’ve
organized has changed their life, helped them bring more income
into their world, helped them rid themselves of the suffocating
debt like I used to have, even just by giving them hope.
Even just by showing them that someone that had been struggling and
failing for so long could eventually figure it out.
It’s a good feeling, for sure, to think that I’ve helped a few folks.
How often do you get that feeling?
Imagine if you made a difference in just one different person’s
life every year of your adult life.
That would be around 50 people or so, actually 50 families or so.
Imagine if you made a difference in just one person’s life every
month.
Wow.
Lots of Internet marketers do that, you know, and most don’t even
realize it.
I’ve had mentors that didn’t know at the time they were my mentors,
that influenced me, that helped me get out of that suffocating
debt, find hope, find success.
You never know when it will happen either.
You might be writing a blog post or a forum post and you’re “in the
zone” and you say something that just seems natural to you, but it
provides an “ah ha” moment to someone else, and inspires them, and
changes them.

Some people have told me that little report changed their life. I
have hope that some of those people took my advice and started
influencing others from that point on.
