It’s almost December as I type this. Almost another year in the
rear view mirror.
Can you see what happened clearly, and do you like what you see?
Or is it a side mirror view, where objects appear to be smaller
than they actually are, and therefore you aren’t paying so much
attention to the history?
Regardless of whether your 2012 results have been mostly positive
or mostly negative business wise, going forward can be a fun ride
if you’ve learned from both your successes and your failures.
I was just looking at my income/expense spreadsheet for the year so
far, and the first half wasn’t so great, but the last few months
have been pretty nice, so my mindset right now is that I know what
I’m doing right now, what I did not so rightly in the past, and
what I could do better in the future…
… which is what I want to keep focused on going into 2013.
