This week’s weekly email is a day early, obviously to all but the
newest of members (which we have quite a few of by the way, and
welcome to them).
In a few hours I have to go to the airport with Dr. Ben’s End of
the World event in Las Vegas as my destination. I know some other
members will be there also, so look me up. I’m speaking on Saturday
about continuity programs, I hope to be able to get a recording of
the session to put in the download area for anyone interested.
Then 3 weeks from today, I’ll be going back there for our 4th
annual Earn1KaDay seminar. I remember after the first one, someone
in the room asked at the end if it would be an annual event, and I
said I didn’t think so, which led to a bunch of nagging.
This is actually the first year other than the first, that I didn’t
need to be talked into holding it. I think it’s going to be a lot
of fun, and we have a more than full list of quality speakers.
By more than full, I mean we have 12 speakers already, and just in
case someone can’t show up due to last minute illness or travel
problems, we have 4 more who volunteered to come prepared to fill
in.
I’m hoping that we can squeeze at least one or two of those extra
speakers in somehow, even if nobody is a no-show, but the hotel
won’t let us use the room after 6 p.m., so going much late isn’t
really an option.

Special announcements:
A couple things:
1. I announced yesterday that the Earn1KaDay 10-day trial offer is
probably going to come down soon after I get back from Vegas next
week.
There’s a lot of factors that will go into the decision, but if
you’re an affiliate promoting the site, please don’t promise that
the price will be the same for much longer, and you can use the
imminent change as a reason to promote now.
I changed the sales page significantly yesterday, highlighting
the Breakthrough Challenge section, and I’ll be doing more tweaking
soon. I really feel that the challenge is something that will soon
be considered one of the best parts of the site, and I feel that
setting a 10 day trial period doesn’t let new members experience
that benefit before they have to make their decision to whether to
stay or quit and give up their dream of success.
It might also be the time, finally, to reconsider the $39.95 monthly
price entirely.

2. I’ve decided on what I want the special “unadvertised bonus” to
be for this year’s seminar. Shawn Hansen has volunteered to put
together a book type thing containing interviews with the speakers
and as many of the attendees as we can get to respond, including
photos, notes from the presentations, and more.
Shawn envisions it being at least 150 to 200 pages in length, and
will be a great supplement to not only the event itself (you’ll be
able to refresh your memory about what happened and who you met),
but it will also bring the recordings to life.
I think we’ll also be allowing those included in the book to have
soft promotions for themselves, such as their Twitter and Facebook
addresses, maybe a web site address, etc., so networking with those
that you meet at the seminar will be much easier after you return.
I know when I go to a seminar, I shake a lot of hands and meet a
lot of new people and when I get back, we lose touch and most of
the faces and names become a blur. Hopefully this will prevent that
from happening.
When I get back next week, I’ll be sending an email to registered
attendees and speakers and asking you to fill out an interview form
as a start to the process, since it will be physically impossible
to interview that many people at the event, plus we know that
people there will have more important things to do.
