How We Got 2,536 Affiliates…

by Rachel Rofe

Hey guys!

I know it’s been a little long since I’ve made a marketing post… hopefully today’s makes up for it!

The video explains some of the reasons I’ve thought, off the top of my head, why we have so many affiliates.

Here’s the full video explaining everything:

…and here’s the list I was referencing:

    Hi Rachel,
As usual you present and explain things in an easy and great way.
It is interesting to learn about the way you work to get the affiliates to join. However, I am not surprised. You and Dennis always deliver in an awesome way.
I will take this to my future business plans in order to enhance my business.

    Thanks Rachel

    Stefan

great list there Rachel. So much here that product owners can learn from who have good products but don’t have the traffic and sales to match. I’ve always said building an army of affiliates is one of the quickest ways of growing and expanding a business, especially when you make it easy for your customers to buy online, and this is a great source for people with and without affiliates to refer to.

I’ll be sharing this with my followers and will include a link to the post in an email about using affiliates to grow your business.

Awesome video Rachel. I have a lot to learn about building my affiliate team and I got about 7 or 8 really key ideas as I watched this. Would have gladly paid for this information so kudos to you for making it free!

    Thanks

    Wow, Rachel. Talk about ‘content-rich!’

I appreciate how you fit so much QUALITY into just a 15-minute video. We’ve been offline marketing since 1993, so there is so much to learn and you covered some things I have never heard before, and did it so clearly (second-tier commissions, for example).

You’ve got great talent in your teaching ability and I certainly appreciate the VALUE that you and Dennis provide for us.

    Thanks again,
    Willy

And wow – 1993… you should make some videos of your own!! :)

    Rachel,
I just joined because I’m helping my daughter market her product. We are at the stage where we would like to get some affiliates and your video is excellent. However nanacast is out of our price range at the moment.
Do you know of any others that are cheaper. We have registered with paydot.com but I’m not sure if they will do what we need.
So far I’ve spent 30 minutes as a member and I feel I’m already getting more than my moneys worth.

Lawrence Calmus Thank you so much for your comment!! I’m so glad that you liked the video, and I’m so happy that you’re getting your money’s worth!! That is AMAZING!!!!! Earn1KADay is really pretty spectacular! ;)

What niche is your daughter in? If she’s in a digital niche, you may want to consider Clickbank.

And do people in her niche use a lot of PayPal? If not, you might want to get something with a credit card processor too.

    I love Synergyx, personally, as well… but I think it’s $997 one-time. There’s also JROX/JAM which I think is significantly cheaper.

What types of things are you looking to have done? :)

My daughter sells a physical product; A 2 DVD set she created that teaches people how to be an event makeup artist. The average price for a 4-6 week course in a brick and mortar school can be as high as $3000.00. Her course is $150.00 Currently we are setting up an affiliate program over at paydot and offering 60%.
We have been selling the product world wide for over 18 months and our buyers are very happy. They are mainly women looking to set up their own business and we provide training in event makeup and also in how to run the business. We think this is a good niche market and are looking for people who would like to sell the product. We have banner ads, an 11 page sales letter-which you can cut and paste as you need, a set of 5 emails to get you started in marketing to your list and suggestions as to the markets you should go after.
JROX does have a free version – thanks.
On our budget both in terms of time and money it looks like paydot is the easiest for us.
I’ve associated the site with my name so if you have a chance you can take a look at it there.
    Thanks for the quick response.

    Hi Rachel!

    Superb video.

This really is invaluable… Justin is right in that this information could easily be sold as an info-product.

My business is currently at the stage where I’m trying to crack the “Affiliate Code”.
    LOL!

I’ve realized after launching 4 WSOs on the Warrior Forum, in the past month, that affiliates really make the difference between mediocre and magnificent.

I’m launching another WSO next week, and will plan to implement some of your tactics here. It’s all part of my GRAND AFFILIATE ARMY EXPERIMENT. :D (muhahahahaaaaa!)

    (ahem.)

Regarding the question about cheaper alternatives to Nanacash…
I’m going to play with the Warrior Forum’s WSOpro.

I know Justin has used it for OTOs (One-Time Offers).
I plan to do the same on my next WSO.

It’s a primitive way of doing it, compared to Nanacash, but it’s a start.
For those of us already using WSOpro, in particular.

Another cheaper alternative is Don Morris’ $7 Dollar Secrets.
The server-side script enables you to offer 100% commissions on your $7 products. Again, fairly primitive compared to Nanacash, but it gets you started.

    Thanks again, Rachel!

    Bolaji.
