How I’m Personally Using WP Twin…

by Rachel Rofe

Hey guys!

Rachel here. :)

I just got an email from someone who bought WP Twin but isn’t sure how to best use it.

I emailed him, but thought that you might get some use from the tips too.

First, if you don’t already know, WP Twin is an AWESOME program that clones WordPress blogs with just a few quick steps. It is SUCH AN AWESOME PROGRAM that totally saves a ton of time.

In fact, the first time I used it I sent Jason Fladlien and Wil Mattos (the creators) an “I love you” email. :)

Anyway, here’s what I told the person who emailed me and asked how to best use it:

I’m so glad you grabbed that WP Twin – it’s a freaking AWESOME value, you’ll see as you play with it! :)

The main thing I’ve been doing is grabbing a bunch of domains, putting the Flexibility theme on them with AdSense, and then using article writers to write 10 articles per blog.

The cool thing with the Flexibility theme is that it lets you do AdSense easily, and my AdSense has been transferring from blog to blog – all I need to do is put in my publisher ID on the Flexibility Theme and then the ads change for every site.

You can get the Flexibility theme for free, but it has an ugly header and footer that I don’t want on my blogs… so I ended up buying the premium.

If you do get that, here’s a video I sent to my VA so you know how to modify the blogs:

After I make each of those sites I’m getting some basic backlinks to each blog and seeing what ranks the fastest. I’m taking the best ranking sites and developing each of them.

This has proven to be a VERY effective way to get Google love (unique content), and I figure for any of the sites that don’t take off, I can flip them on Flippa for $200 or so. :)

Another way I’ve been thinking about using them is for offline clients – making templates for people who want websites and then just cloning and deploying them.

Does that help?? I really hope so!

With love,
Rachel

I hope this helps YOU, too. If you have any clarification questions, comments, or anything else… feel free to let me know. I’ll be happy to help as best as I possibly can.

With love,

Rachel

P.S. If you happen to read this before December 28, we have a special deal on WP Twin. You can get it for $57 (normally $97) right here. We only have rights to do that for a limited time though (contractual obligations). If you miss out though, don’t worry – we sell a bundle of other products with WP Twin as a bonus for $77 normally. That’s still a hefty $20 discount off what you’ll find elsewhere. :)

Merry Christmas!!

It looks really great, Rachel, but is this better (or different) than WP Sales Engine which I already own?

Hey Michael! WPSE and WP Twin are my two favorite WordPress addons. :)

WPSE is AWESOME for sales letters, adding testimonials, johnson boxes, videos, changing the design with a click of a button… it’s GREAT.

WP Twin, on the other hand, clones your WordPress blog with the click of a few buttons. This helps you not have to bother installing themes all over again, entering the same settings all over again, deleting the “Hello World” post, etc… you know what I mean?

Let me know if I can clarify. Both are phenomenal in their own rights, just for different things!

    Hi Rachel,

Can you clone everything BUT the content? Meaning, if you have a current blog with a TON of content in, say, the fitness niche, can you “clone” it such that your theme, plugins, etc., are cloned but NOT the content?

Or, do you have to DELETE the content?

Good question! I simply created my initial blog (before adding content) and made a “clone” file, so I haven’t tried that.

I just emailed Wil, so I’ll respond here as soon as I know!

    Here’s what Wil said:

“WPT clones everything. If you want a base clone without content, you can clone an existing blog, deploy it on another domain, delete the content, and create a new clone. This will give you a base clone without content that can be used to deploy future sites.”

    Merry Christmas!!

I would do that, just set up the blog with the look and feel, plugins, etc.. then clone, and then add content…

I sent my business partner the link for yesterday’s webinar. She was overwhelmed to say the least with all the different business models and way of monetizing websites… but she latched onto Adsense and passive income…. and wants to build these sites.

Having built several content rich websites, it can take a while, but do able..

So next week this will be part of our strategy, building content websites with WordPress and Adsense… and having WPTwin makes it easy to duplicate the “bones” of a website…

    Oo, that’s awesome!!!

Yeah, the webinar definitely could be confusing for a newbie, but I’m glad she found something that resonated with her!

WP Twin is definitely amazing for the AdSense. :)

    Two quick questions:

    1. The link to the free flexibility theme goes to the paid flexsqueeze theme. Do you know where to find the free version?

    2. Which webinar are you guys talking about?

    Thanks!! =)
