What a great week.
I’m feeling super, and I’ll be able to start back on the treadmill
this weekend.
Rachel’s back in the country, and she stopped in NJ to spend a
couple nights at our house. We spent 2 days at the office
brainstorming and my whiteboard is absolutely jam packed with
ideas. She’s still working her ways towards her home in Oregon, so
she isn’t totally productive again yet, but by the weekend, that
should happen. Whew!
It’s always nice to be in a happy frame of mind, you know? More
about that later.
As far as our brainstorming, some very exciting things are going to
happen this month and next, so keep a watch out, and if you’re an
affiliate you’re going to be very, very happy.

Just a bit of news. Rachel and I are seriously considering making
the Five Buck Friday either history, or maybe just not every week.
With the popularity of the dime sales, affiliates haven’t been
promoting the FBF events so much anymore, so we’re thinking it
makes more sense to focus on something that’s going to yield better
results.
This would give us more time in the week to find better products
for the dime sale, maybe test having dime sales during the week
instead of on the weekend (or both), and other ideas that we really
can’t do right now because of the email schedule being clogged up
with the multiple offers we’re already committed to every week.
If we do disband FBF, I’m thinking of having a “going out of
business” sale and mark them all, for 72 hours or maybe a week,
back to the $5.00 price.
And then we have a further idea after increasing the price back up.
There have been 20 FBF products so far, some have done much better
than others, but it doesn’t appear to be topic related, it’s more
“which affiliates are promoting it this week?” related.
And of course, if we stop doing them, we could change our mind in
the future, and start doing them again.
Any feedback would be appreciated, of course.

It really annoys me also. Fortunately it doesn’t happen often, but
