Well, here it is Friday again. The last update, two weeks ago, I
mentioned how challenging September was.
October has been quite the same, only more so. My surgery hasn’t
quite had the effect I planned yet, but I trust it will work out.
On the other hand, when you have a web host who allows a hardware
failure to keep an entire room full of servers out of service for
almost an entire week, and then when they brought mine back up,
they restored all my sites to the July 2008 status, now that just
goes beyond ridiculous.
If anyone needs recommendations about a web hosting company to
avoid like the plague, mark down the name ait.com in your book.
I restored as much as I was able to at this point, if you see
anything odd, let me know. The outage didn’t affect the Earn1KaDay
forum at all, that’s hosted by HostGator who coped with fires and
hurricanes, rather than just a mere power surge.
But now I’m redirecting the entire earn1kaday.com site over to
earn1kaday.net, instead of just the members area, so something
might be affected that I haven’t noticed yet.
Anyway, the beat goes on…
