How was your week? Did you accomplish what you wanted to
accomplish? At the beginning of the week did you have a plan as to
what you wanted to accomplish?
Remember Parkinson’s Law, “work expands to fill the time alloted to
it”, so if you didn’t have a set of tasks, and a deadline for
completion, chances are you might have spent way too much time
doing way too little.
Action Enforcer is a good tool to solve that problem, remember, I
use it every day, right now I have a regular Friday task “prepare
and send Earn1KaDay email”, and the timer is counting down as I
type now. If I didn’t set the timer, it would probably take me an
extra hour to complete (I know from past experience before I
started using Action Enforcer that’s true).

I said that I’d make a decision this week about the seminar. It’s
not 100% sure yet until we see what kind of rates we can get on
conference rooms, but I want to make it happen. My choice would be
May 21-23 in Las Vegas, and considering the abundance of hotels in
Las Vegas, I don’t see that as being a problem. Updates will be

The poll ended, but you can still post if you’re coming, and with
any questions you have.
The bottom line is, with the number of people that said they’d
definitely come, it wasn’t going to be a financial success, but
with the quality of speakers that said they’d be willing to
present, I didn’t want to let that opportunity slip away.
Hopefully a lot more people will show up when the time comes, and
if that happens, this will become an annual event.
Are you on the fence about coming, versus just buying the DVD set?
I’m not guaranteeing a DVD set will be produced at this point.
Besides, watching the DVD’s just isn’t the same as being there in
person, being able to ask questions, talk to dozens of IM’ers, make
new friends, and set the stage for future JV opportunities. You
might learn as much during lunches, dinners, and at the bar as you
do in the conference room, anyway.
Remember, this is not a pitchfest event. Most seminars make their
money from taking 50% of the sales the speakers make in the back of
the room. We don’t do that, and if a speaker does mention a
product, it’s an “oh by the way” afterthought, not the reason for
getting on stage. Ask attendees last year about the quality of the
presentations, or ask anyone who purchased the DVD set (or get one
for yourself), and I think you’ll see what I’m talking about.
We have a tremendous lineup of speakers confirmed so far, and a
couple more that we’re working on that will knock your socks off,
so keep watch for an official announcement.

Good question. I teach to fail fast, but what do you do with the
sites that fail? Just leave them and hope they work out on their
own? Convert them to something else? After all, once the domain is
paid for, you get to use it free until it comes up for renewal.

Zana’s commenting on the fact that, thanks to IM, she and her

I know when I had the retail store, and the debt problems, and all
sorts of other pressures, the stress was enormous. Now the stress
is way less, not totally gone, but a different kind.
