Offline marketing webinar, ezinearticles alert, domain scams, and more!

by 5buckguy

What a week it’s been since last I wrote. As you probably know, I
spent the weekend in beautiful Raleigh, North Carolina meeting some
fellow Earn1KaDay’ers as well as top IM’ers like Jason Fladlien,
Robert Plank, James Jones, Willie Crawford, Kevin Riley, Ron Capps,
Matt and John Rhodes, and more.

It seems like the Warrior seminar was done not specifically with
the blessing of the Warrior Forum owner, Allen Says, so what
happens next year is up in the air. The organizer, Jack Tackett,
said he’d be glad to organize it again as long as nobody objects to
it being in Raleigh again.

I would certainly recommend to anyone considering attending a
seminar to be there next time if it’s in a location reasonably
nearby you. People came from all over the world to this one.

But now I’m back, with new ideas, and ready to finish out the year
on a roll. So let’s get to it.

Here are this week’s new downloads:

Copyright Handbook, How to Register and Defend Your Copyrights:
/notloggedin.php

I would suggest that this is absolutely necessary for any content
creator of any type to read. Yes, your works are copyrighted just
because you did create an original work, but still there’s an
advantage to registering your work properly, and besides, this
guide tells you how to handle the situation where someone ignores
your copyright.

Simple 5 Minute Article Traffic Plan:

I just took a quick glance at this so far, it seems pretty decent,
though it might be somewhat out of date already considering the
changes coming at ezinearticles which are discussed below.

Customers Are King:

A good guide to customer relationships and retention.

Here’s an immediate benefit from my attending the Warrior seminar.
I met Tim Castleman, who gave a really entertaining and informative
presentation about offline marketing. I talked to him there and
followed up after I got back, and he’s agreed to give his
presentation in the form of a webinar, plus this time there will be
opportunities to ask him all sorts of questions, which I’m sure
there will be a bunch.

The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, October 29th at 2 p.m.
eastern (New York) time, the title is “Instant Startup Guide to
Offline Marketing” and registration details are in this thread:

I think you’re really going to enjoy this a lot.

Forum threads of note:

Jon asked how to replace a revenue stream that he’s losing.
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9083

Speaking of offline marketing, a few of us mentioned that as a
quick way. He’s sort of fortunate that he saw this revenue loss
coming, that doesn’t always happen. What would you do if you lost a
significant income stream virtually overnight? And what advice
would you give Jon?

Did you read John Reese’s 2010 IM report?
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9123

I read it the other night, and it really surprised me. John really
opened up on a bunch of huge mistakes he’s made recently, including
some huge failures. None of us are immune to failing, making bad
decisions, losing focus, etc., as this report will show.

He really is human, is the bottom line.

Warning to article marketers, it’s going to get more difficult to
get articles approved by ezinearticles, and many might be seeing
old articles disabled:

Steve made a good post about dealing with clients:

I’ve seen these emails for years, and several members have posted
in the past, getting all excited about offers for their domain
names, so Gene’s clearing the air and playing along with the “perp”
on this one.

90 Day Challenge people, how about an update:

It’s been close to a month now, are you still on track?

Speaking of Gregg, he’s smiling about something of his that got
included as a bonus in a big launch:

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.

Until next week, I wish you the very best in everything.

This is a good post about offline marketing. The offline marketing business industry is steadily growing and there are a lot of space to exploit the untapped market of businesses desperate in need for an online presence. Thanks
