Next week is the week I always dread. As most of you know, I
also have a business where we pack and ship merchandise that I
sell on eBay and on a merchandise web site of our own. I have an
employee who runs the warehouse and packs and ships everything…
except he takes one week vacation a year, and next week is the
week.
so I’m going to be a little scarce on the computer next week while
I cover for him, though I’ll still check in and see how everyone’s
doing, less so during the day, and more so in the evening from
home.

Speaking of webinars, I have a story. As you probably know I
became a huge fan of webinars after I finished the Webinar Crusher
course earlier this year, and have since done very well with them,
and love doing them.
When Webinar Crusher 2.0 was announced, there was one person on the
fence about whether he should attend or not. On one hand, he
didn’t appreciate the sometimes offensive personality of Robert
Plank, and on the other hand he thought he needed the class. We
exchanged PM’s for a few days, and in the end, he decided to give
it a shot, since there was a money back guarantee anyway.
From what I’ve heard and seen, that person was one of the stars of
the class, and I’m proud to say that he’s been a long time member
here, Andy Erickson.
As a thanks to myself and to other members that encouraged him to
take the course, Andy is giving us a huge discount to a webinar series
he’s running starting Sunday. Andy’s a graphics pro, and when I
saw the sales page he set up, it just blew me away. The webinar
course is titled “Graphics Boot Camp”.
Good as he is with graphics, Andy isn’t too good with business
sense, though I’m sure he’ll realize real soon how underpriced
this first one is. We’ve come to expect 4-webinar courses to cost
at least $197 up to $497, but he’s doing it for Earn1KaDay members
for … $47 ($97 to the public).
Only 30 spots are available, I think I’ll grab one myself after I
get this email out, I need to learn how to take advantage of all
those graphics tools sitting in our download area.

Over $3000, and I’m sure it’s much higher now, but what struck me
was his ability to talk some major gurus into JV’ing with him.
Sometimes all you have to do is ask, plus have a product that
matches the target audience.

We set up a special forum for it, but it’s hit a snag with server
problems, so we had to move it to a new domain after a brief
startup. I think Gregg’s got that taken care of now, so view the
thread and contact him if you want to participate in the challenge.
I would say this is a perfect time of the year to do a 90-day
challenge, take advantage of the holiday traffic, and gear up to
push your business to the next level in 2010.
Last minute update to this: Gregg started the forum on the other
server fresh, so if you registered before, you’ll have to do so
again, after contacting him to get the address.

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.
