Happy Friday, guys and girls, it’s another beautiful day, and only
going to get better.

Here are this week’s new downloads:
Motivationality:
/notloggedin.php
Robert Plank explains 16 different methods he uses to keep himself
motivated and productive. You can’t help but find a new idea here,
I guarantee it.
This is from the Daily Seminar archives, I noticed that the
download list was barren this week, and I didn’t want that to
happen, so I thought this one would be helpful. It ties in with my
editorial, and I think you’ll benefit from this. As well, it’s
hopefully a refreshing change from the typical IM report.

The Earn1KaDay 2009 seminar DVD series is available here at the
members discounted price:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/kunaki/
Sales have been good, but I really would hope that every single
member would have access to the tremendous information that was
presented in Orlando last January. The bonuses are well worth the
cost of the whole set, on top of the 7 video DVD’s. Even one
session, for example Michael Gunn’s talk about how he gets 77% open
rates on his emails, is worth the price of admission all by itself.
##############################################
This week I’d like to publish an editorial. There have been some
things on my mind that I’d like to get onto paper, and I hope you
don’t mind.
Unless you’re a brand new member here, you’ve probably listened or
read the latest two interviews, with Michael Gunn and James
Schramko. If you haven’t done that, you really need to.
I see all too many people here get frustrated, spin their wheels,
overanalyze, and/or give up hope. That’s a shame, it really is.
When you read about Michael Gunn spending 6 years in Internet
marketing without making a dime … When you read about James
Schramko having a very successful and challenging management job
earning $300K annually, with a company car and lots of other perks,
and then giving that up … even when you read of my struggles, 3
years of total frustration, on the verge of bankruptcy, that I
talked about in 5 Bucks a Day …
When you read all that, and then also read the success stories of
those people and myself, as well as many others in the Success
section of the forum, you probably have one of two thoughts if you
haven’t reached your own successes … either “there’s hope for me
yet” … or … “those people are the exception to the rule”.
I hope there are enough threads in the success section (there are
197 there at the moment, I don’t know how many unique people are
profiled, you can count them yourself if you have nothing better to
do … but you probably do), that you should know by now that
success amongst our members isn’t unusual. In fact it’s common.
But even though it’s not uncommon, each and every member success is
special to me and worthy of applause.
Those who think they’ll never make it there, or never make their
first 1K day (this is what you’re here for, after all), there is
one reason, and one reason alone, that you think that. One word to
describe your thoughts …
FEAR
Fear stands for “False Evidence Appearing Real”. The evidence in
your own life might be that you can’t succeed because of (insert
your own reason or excuse here).
But keep in mind that the evidence you’re pointing to, that you
can’t do something in the future, is false, reagardless of how real
it appears. FEAR.
Human beings, which we all are, and the human mind, which we all
have, are capable of tremendous things. Once we dispel the notion
that we can’t do something, guess what happens? We can do what we
previously thought that we couldn’t.
You don’t know what will be possible in the future, for mankind, or
for yourself. Presupposing that you can’t do something is totally
wrong.
I always like to go back to the scientific theory not that long ago
(in my lifetime) that a human being couldn’t run a distance of a
mile in less than 4 minutes. There was plenty of supposed
evidence. FEAR. False evidence, appearing real, because no one
had done it.
Until Roger Bannister did it in 1954. Guess what happened? Others
realized that the FEAR factor was truly false, and then they were
then able to do the same. If you’d like to read the Roger
Bannister chronicle:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Bannister
And that’s what Earn1KaDay was originally conceived for. I
personally found that my own personal preconceived notions of what
I could accomplish, my self imposed limitations, were in many if
not all cases false. Every time I thought I had hit a ceiling as
far as earnings, once I decided to test those ceilings and try to
crash through them, I could. And once I did that, those levels
became not “once in a blue moon” successes, but more and more
common.
That can happen for you, just like it happened for me, just like it
happened for long distance runners, and so many other successes.
I would like to encourage you to go through the next few weeks, at
least, living with two thoughts. One is from me, to “Crush FEAR!”,
and the other is from Steve Goltiao (SteveG, one of our success
stories) to “Think Big!”.
If you do that, I guarantee that your best day, your best week,
your best month, your best year, is going to happen before you know
it.
The other thing I’d like to address here is the thread that I
mentioned in last week’s email, that being Sonya’s thread about
“How to Overcome Loss of Interest”, which is here:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7310
That’s exactly why I thought the download I added today,
Motivationality, was perfect. If you are experiencing boredom,
frustration, lack of interest, inability to complete a project, or
any of the other things that are holding you back, read or watch or
listen to Motivationality (multiple times, please), pick one new
habit out of the 16 Robert presents, and focus on that for as long
as it takes to make it a habit for you.
If you do that, and if you Crush FEAR, you will, no doubt about it,
destroy the problems or excuses that are causing you to lose
interest, because you will, no doubt about it, start making more
income, having more fun, and doing everything faster.
Just promise me one thing. Once you see the results that come
after you take these suggestions, please, please, please post your
own success story thread in the forum. I’d like to see that thread
count rise to 250 soon, and then smash well beyond that barrier.

Forum threads of note:
Michael says, here’s a product he would buy:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7344
It’s apparent others would as well, including myself. Who do you
think will be the first to market? Money likes speed, after all.

Amazon changes:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7335
This has gotten a lot of press, you can no longer (as of May 1),
link directly to Amazon from a PPC ad. Be aware, make any
adjustments you need to, failure to do so will mean loss of
commissions, and maybe your affiliate account.

Now it’s Maryland that wants to tax IM’ers:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7339
This issue is getting serious. Last month it was California. Last
year it was New York. This isn’t going away, folks, we need to
contact our representatives if there’s even a sniff of this in your
state.

Update on StevenR’s campaign to pay tuition bills:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7351
Steven started out wanting to pay for private school, I think his
results have gone well beyond that, as you’ll see in this update.

Video Sales Tactics still open for Earn1KaDay members:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7338
I pulled some strings, twice.
First I got Robert Plank and Jason Fladlien to give our members a
special deal on joining their video coaching course, instead of
$197 we pay $97.
Then, after they sold out the 100 slots, I asked them to keep it
open for us.
So, even though the webinars started Tuesday this week, you can
still sign up, Tuesday’s session is downloadable, and there’s a ton
of content in the members area there already. Much more than was
originally promised, and this is only the first week.
By the way, our own Jenn Dize won one of the 2 Flip camcorders,
congratulations Jenn. I’ve asked our members to post their first
video sales page for us to see, Jenn’s posted hers already, and I
posted mine, in this thread:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7354
Even if you don’t join, seeing some of the examples might give you
some ideas. At last count, 33 Earn1KaDay members took Jason and
Robert up on our special deal, and at least a few joined at full
price in order to get to talk to Jason. I’m promoting this not
because I get a commission (I don’t), but because I totally believe
that the video techniques they’re teaching is a bargain at 5 times
the price.
I’d suggest you join now, if you haven’t already, if you have any
desire to make video marketing part of your plans anytime this year.
By the way, and this is just between us, OK? I got the inside
scoop on how this course came about. Jason and Robert were at
Armand Morin’s seminar a couple weeks ago, and were talking to
Armand. He told them he was going to come out with a coaching
program or something about how to produce videos in the near future.
So Jason and Robert looked at each other, got together, planned
this course, and launched it, all in about a week’s time.
Yet another indication, money likes speed.

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.

Until next week, I wish you the very best in everything.
