After the interview with James Schramko, I was encouraged to do
another one, with last week’s success story, Michael Gunn. This
turned into, I think, a fabulous discussion that ran almost an
hour. You’ll pick up a lot of great tips if you listen to this or
read the transcript.

that he read through the transcript and picked up some ideas (from
his own interview!). That’s an obvious indication that one listen
or one read isn’t enough, and using multiple modalities is often a
good idea for important stuff like these interviews. There are so
many “between the lines” things you can pick up. And if you’re
just reading, often there are things that you’ll pick up by
listening to a person’s tone of voice and emphasis that you can’t
possibly pick up just by reading.
Amazon S3 update:
I put up a download last week that showed how to use Amazon S3. I
got inspired to try it out yesterday, so I set up an account and
uploaded the video itself. I fumbled a little, but it was really
pretty easy. If you didn’t bother to download it last week, and
would prefer a streaming video, I’m using Amazon S3 itself to host

The Rhodes Brothers Membership Blueprints promotion ended on
Tuesday, I know a ton of Earn1KaDay members picked up the special
offer. I think (not totally sure) they’re leaving the workshop in
Las Vegas open for registrations still, that’s probably the only
way you can get this product now.
But … I understand it was a relatively high ticket item and not
everyone can cough up that price overnight, especially around tax
time, so if there’s any interest, I could maybe open up sales of
their DVD as a standalone product. If there’s any interest, let me
know by replying to this email or by PM. It wouldn’t take long to
set something up, the price would be $37 plus shipping, it would be
a physical DVD, and it would not include the bonus that you would
get if you bought the whole series, so buying the full set would be
your absolute best deal by far.

Interesting question from Sonya, and some very interesting answers
so far. What do you think? This is a problem a large number of
IM’ers face, I’m positive. People tell you to set up niches that
you’re passionate about, but what if what you’re passionate about
is either too competitive or not something that can be easily
monetized? What then, when the alternative is to do something that
bores you?

If you’re a California affiliate marketer, they’re trying to tax
IM’ers, like they did in New York last year. If you live there,
this is bad news, and maybe writing your representatives would do
some good. It can’t hurt.

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.
