Wow, what a week this has been, I’m exhausted, but I think I got a
lot done, including a new product (sort of), and full reviews of
some very good stuff, you might notice based on what you’ll see
below, I hope you like …

Here are this week’s new downloads:
Pricing For Big Profits:
/notloggedin.php
This is absolutely fascinating, and essential if you have any
products of your own where you are making pricing decisions. By
Paul Hancox, which might be enough said. I learned some things
that are telling me I left probably 6 figures on the table in the
last 2 years, actually. Ugh. Remind me to read this every couple
months if I forget.
Making Movies Easily:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6941
I was asked to do this one by some members. If you were wondering
what it takes to make your own movies like I showed last week with
my mind movie, here’s how. It includes the slides I used which you
can modify to suit your own personality. Keep in mind that not
only can you make mind movies, but any type of video, which I
discuss briefly inside the tutorial report that’s included. You
could make a good income after you learn how to do this, or just
have a whole lot of fun.
MySpace Marketing Guide:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6943
Probably the title says enough for you to know if you’re interested
in this or not. If not there’s a sales page that gives more
information linked from the thread. You get master resell rights
for this one.
Customizing Your Gmail:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6915
Sandi Valentine contributed this to the members area, a series of
videos discussing how to make better use of gmail.

I posted a special offer on Thursday in the forum. I negotiated a
special deal for members with Chris Endres, who is an offline
marketing consultant that was brought to my attention by a forum
member.
Chris recently ended a WSO where he provided a toolkit to help
IM’ers sell email marketing services to local businesses. I
convinced Chris to give my lists access to this at the old WSO
price for an additional 10 days, even though the WSO ended this
week.
My opinion: Email marketing services for local offline businesses
could be one of the easiest and most lucrative markets to tap, as
well as a win-win for the local businesses that aren’t already
staying in contact with their customers. I know the value of
direct marketing, I used to do it when I had my retail store, but
when I was doing that, I had to mail out flyers. I had a list of
about 1000 customers, and it would cost me upwards of a dollar each
when I wanted to announce a special, and it took a lot of time to
prepare the flyer, print, collate, stamp, and mail it out.
Yes, it cost me about $1000 to do that every couple months, but it
was usually worth it. Nowadays, as you know, email marketing is
simple and cheap, if you know how, all you need to do is set up an
autoresponder series (which I couldn’t do with flyers), and
occasional broadcast messages. Most of us already know how to do
that, or it can be easily learned, but the local businesses will
think you’re a magician if you show them how effective it can be.
You can easily justify charging them a 4-figure setup fee, and a
nice monthly recurring fee, to do this for them, and be doing them
a favor.
Get a couple dozen clients (outsource the marketing part if you
don’t want to do that) and you’ll have a nice full time income for
very little work.
Check out the discount opportunity for Chris’ toolkit, he said he
would leave the offer open for about 10 days:
http://e1kad.com/offlinetoolkit
But don’t believe the price that the page above shows you, it shows
$97, but our price is $27 which you’ll see when you get to the
PayPal payment page. Is it worth $97? Uh… maybe, but a stretch.
Is it worth more than $27? A slam dunk yes, absolutely. But keep
in mind, Chris is pulling that offer about a week from now.

Forum threads of note:
Are you getting the results you deserve?
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6886
James Schramko made a post or two in another thread, and I asked
him to split it out into one of its own, in order to give it more
visibility. If you’ve only been a member a few months, you might
have missed the first time he posted a success thread, where he
announced he was getting 1K a day, every day, and since then has
been contributing great value for us as to his techniques.
The last week he’s been especially prolific in some of the ways
he’s been able to transition from a 6-figure job to a much higher
income on his own. This thread will eventually end up in the Top
Forum Threads section, I’m fairly confident, I hope you’ll
contribute and if you have any questions of James, feel free to ask.

Steve posted an interesting stat and link about how many small
businesses still don’t have a website:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6927
I would have thought more, but then again having a website, and
having an effective website, are two different things. Just
another reason to start offering offline services. If I lost
everything overnight except my skills and my computer, or if
someone put a gun to my head and said I had to make an additional
10K in a month or they’d foreclose on my house, without even
thinking, I’d start contacting local businesses and showing them
what a simple website, combined with email marketing, could do for
them. I could almost guarantee, within 60 days, I’d have earned
25K or more, and have a recurring income stream of at least 5K or
more. Probably more.

When Earn1KaDay started, the main reason was to teach my 5 Bucks a
Day readers about how I built Mini Money Sites, and made a
tremendous income from the eBay affiliate program.
Earn1KaDay is almost 2 years old now, and people are still doing
very well with MMS’s, as you can see in some of the success threads.
Unfortunately things have changed a lot over the years, and
presented some challenges. The latest, and most serious, is that
eBay seems to not be approving new affiliate applications for the
U.S. program. There’s been a lot of talk in the forum, and many
people that don’t read all the threads apply, get rejected, and
start a new thread without looking for old ones.
In fact the top 3 threads below the stickies in the MMS sub-forum,
are all discussing the same thing. So I felt it was worth
mentioning to those that don’t read every post like I do, it’s
something that has been discussed over and over at length,
including in this thread:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6712
Whether this is a temporary thing with eBay (I personally think it
is, unless they’re so naive as to think they don’t need affiliates)
or not, at the moment the logical alternative to eBay is amazon.
If you’ve found others, let us know.
Personally, I do think they got overwhelmed with administrative
challenges when they left CJ, and at some point when they solve
those challenges, they’ll be back. But who knows? I don’t have an
inside source. In the beginning I always said eBay’s affiliate
program was far and away the most generous one I had ever found,
and maybe it was just too generous to be profitable for them.
Would I still promote them if they reduced the payouts? Probably.
When I started, the payouts were much lower, specifically $12 for
an ACRU and much less on winning bids.
And before that, when Chris Carpenter wrote “Google Cash” and
recommended them, the payout was $5 for an ACRU, and just .10 for a
bid instead of 50%+ of their revenue, it was much less lucrative
than now. So personally I think that even if they cut back the
payouts, even though they’ll get flamed in the forums, it’s still a
viable program to promote, assuming you can get an account with
them.

Where does your non-job income come from? Do you know? If you
have multiple streams of income, especially if you’re doing this
full time, it pays to know what you should pay more attention to,
or do more of.
For example, Rachel just posted this list this morning:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6952
I sense that the list surprised even her. Consider making your own
list of income sources, I’m not wanting to invade your privacy and
ask that you post it, unless you want to, but it could be very
enlighting.

Insanely huge success story:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6929
Craig did 5 figures in 3 days. He doesn’t say (as of the time I
wrote this), but I can guess where the income came from, you
probably can as well.
If you’ve been around a while, you remember his other success
threads, and his products that came out of sharing those techniques
clearly work:
http://e1kad.com/sac
http://e1kad.com/sac2
I’ll bet that most of that 3 day income came from following the
formula in those 2 reports. Congratulations, Craig!

Redirect script from Wil Mattos:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6795
I use this one myself, Wil was going to end the special pricing,
but I told him I’d send out an email heads up in case you want to
take advantage. It will make your setting up of redirect links
quick and easy.

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.
