Earn1KaDay News From Orlando

by 5buckguy

Today I’m in Orlando. I wasn’t sure I would make it a couple days
ago, but the crisis at home was solved, and the flight was smooth
yesterday. Thank goodness I didn’t choose the other area airport
to fly out of (LaGuardia), and thank goodness everyone is
apparently safe from yesterday’s forced landing in the freezing
river.

I’m hampered by doing this email on a laptop with a mushy keyboard,
and on slower than accustomed Internet access, so it will probably
be short (and please excuse any typos).

Edit: Sorry this is late, just as I was queuing it up to send,
aWeber went out of service. Better late than never, right? :-)

Earn1KaDay seminar update:

The seminar starts tomorrow, and the open bar is tonight. High
powered affiliate marketers are streaming into central Florida as I
type. If you decided at the last minute that you can’t afford to
miss this, contact me right away, we have seats, and we can figure
out a payment plan.

I got an email this morning from Tim that his wife’s grandmother
had a stroke, and he has to reschedule his flight to stay home with
his kids this morning, at least. He hopes to make it to Florida by
late today or sometime Saturday. We’re having to juggle the
schedule accordingly. Hopefully he’ll make it on time, and
hopefully his family will be well taken care of.

Product review: Formula 5, by the Stompernet people

You’ve never seen me promote a high priced launch, for good reason.
I normally consider them overhyped, overpriced, underdelivered.

And my initial notions about Formula 5 were that this would be
similar. Now normally I don’t have the patience to sit through all
the free video of these kinds of prelaunches, no time. Fortunately
in this case, they released a PDF to summarize the first batch of
videos, and even though it was more than eBook sized, I decided to
skim it.

It ended up that I couldn’t skim. 98 pages, I think, of solid
content. They call it “MBA in a Box”, and although this presell
report can’t be considered an MBA program in itself, it looks like
the full product will be. This report delivers probably more than
your typical $77 eBook. I’m not sure what the price will be of the
full product, I figure in the 2K to 2.5K range. Whatever it will
be will be worth it if …

You’re in business, or want to be, in fact seriously want to be.

The concept is simple. 5 core business strategies. Improve each
of them by 15%, and through the power of compounding, you’ve
doubled your business. Some of the strategies are simple to
implement, it looks like, such as slightly raising your prices.
The theory is, who will notice a 15% price rise? Personally I’m
going to try that on my merchandise sites when I get back.

But the other thing is, if I were to raise my prices by 15%, it
wouldn’t raise my profit 15%, it would be much more, because if I
have a 30% profit margin now, which is close, and I raise the price
15%, without increasing expenses, my profit margin will now be 45%,
because all the increase goes to the bottom line. So my profits
increase by 50% because I raised prices 15%. If you’re not a math
major, your head may be spinning, but the formula works.

To achieve the 15% increases in the 5 major strategies, Formula 5,
which will launch on Monday, January 19th, gives you 238 distinct
action blocks to choose from. Surely there will be 5 out of 238
that you can implement in your business, don’t you think?
Successfully implement 5 and you’ll double your business, and
improve your profits even more than that. You don’t have to stop
at 5, of course.

I wrote before about incremental improvement, Formula 5 does also.
And I’ve been told that Formula 5 teaches focus (focus on one
action block at a time, get it working, then go on to the next),
which is really the 5 Bucks a Day strategy, isn’t it? So I guess
you can see why I think this is a tremendous product.

If you’re just starting out, this may not be the product for you at
this time, but if you’re doing OK, and want to do better,
regardless of whether you’re selling merchandise (like I am),
information products (like I am), or even doing affiliate
promotions and want to be more effective, I truly feel this is MBA
type information for a very low cost relative to value.

I did a more extensive review on my wiki here:

http://independent-review.wikidot.com/formula-5

That links to the MBA in a Box report, which is free, and to the
first of the videos if you prefer watching. Or you can go straight
to the initial video, it runs around 20 minutes, and it will give
you an idea if it’s for you or not:

http://www.stomper-f5.com

You should submit your email address there. You will receive a
free video from Paul Lemberg, the force behind the Formula 5
content, that gives you several techniques (from the 238) you can
implement today to start seeing results. There is no reason for you
not to do this. The video is free and full of valuable content that
can earn you more money now.

I do highly recommend this course, and will be using as many of the
action blocks myself as make sense. Some are fairly simple to do,
so I’ll be picking 5 that I think will be the easiest and/or most
effective to implement in the beginning. Perfect “5 Bucks a Day”
projects, actually.

Don’t miss the launch on Monday, I’ll be flying back from Orlando
when it happens, but I’ve taken steps to make sure that I get it
before they sell out. I understand there are some awesome early
bird bonuses that I might miss, but that gives you a better chance,
doesn’t it?

Forum threads of note:

Tong posted here:

I never would have thought that someone could be in Earn1KaDay
without reading “5 Bucks a Day”, but evidently it happens. Tong
seems to think that his initial reading of it made a great
difference. How about you? Have you read it lately?

Michael Gunn has a nice MMS tip, called “The Power of Free”,
sometimes the most effective techniques are so simple and so
elusive until you think outside the box:

Success story alert! I mentioned Sandi Valentine’s progress last
week with offline marketing, this week she reported her first 2K
day! :-)

Now do you think that 1K days are impossible to imagine? Hmmmm?

I think that I forgot to mention this last week, if this is a
repeat, excuse me, but I don’t want to miss announcing the December
2008 member of the month, sweetjane, Ms. Leanne King:

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.

Until next week, I wish you the very best in everything.
