It’s been a short week, but a fun week. My son and daughter in law
were over for dinner yesterday, we haven’t seen them in a couple
months, so that was nice. Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate
it in their country, and regardless, as I mentioned last week,
thanks for being a member of Earn1KaDay and continuing to read my
weekly emails.

Seats are still available, and I understand prices of airfare are
coming down from many places.
I hope you’ll join us in January.

I got an email from an IM’er I’ve heard of before, but didn’t think
he had heard of me. Evidently he had, because he said he was asked
to contact me on behalf of another IM’er that I hadn’t heard of.
This other marketer wanted me to promote his upcoming product.
As is customary, I mentioned that I really don’t have the habit of
recommending things sight unseen, so he sent me a review copy. The
launch is next week, but there’s a pre-launch video available today
here:
http://www.e1kad.com/likes/cbic
Now, obviously I wouldn’t give you that link if I didn’t like the
content of the review copy I received. That’s a definite. But I
normally wouldn’t blather on and on about it without just cause.
And I’m about to do that in this case.
Chris Freville’s product is called “Clickbank Inner Circle”. It
includes insight on how to acquire top notch JV partners for your
own products. What got my attention was seeing advice on doing
some of the things that have been happening to me this last year
that has helped me tremendously.
There’s a lot to this product, but one thing struck me as important.
One was his advice in using forums to acquire JV partners. It goes
right to the core of what I’ve been preaching about forever about
making your “forum friends” (you did read that report of mine,
right?). Chris’s recommendations made me smile. He didn’t exactly
talk about forum friends, but basically the same thing.
Another thing made me smile, as I was reading his chapter about
important Internet marketing forums. I started thinking about how I
wished that he would have mentioned Earn1KaDay in the book as an
important paid forum where JV partners can be found.
And on the next page, there we were.
Now I don’t know how
Chris knew about our site, but I guess I understand now why he had
someone search me out and ask me to promote the book. I would have
done it anyway, but how could I resist now?
And it just wasn’t a long list of membership sites, there were only
three, including Earn1KaDay.
But that’s only one chapter of the book. If you have a dream of
launching a product and getting some of the top super affiliates to
help you promote it, this is a book you want to buy while it’s in
the lower priced early launch phase (I think it’s going to be $47
the first few days, then increasing, but don’t quote me).
There are a bunch of audio interviews that I haven’t had a chance
to listen to yet, but hope to soon. Still, the core book is pure
gold. There’s even a quick start guide telling how to get the most
out of the course, depending on your current experience level.
Newbies are shown the more basic ropes first, more experienced
IM’ers can skip those parts.
You don’t have a product yet? Hey, I found something recently that
will help you overcome that, keep reading this email.
The core philosophy behind Clickbank Inner Circle is techniques to
get noticed by top super affiliates. That’s started to happen to me
this year, for a couple reasons, not the least of which is the
tremendous support of Earn1KaDay members, but it didn’t come easy.
Again, I wish I would have read this book 2 years ago.
At least check out the pre-launch video. it’s only about 3 minutes
long, and I’ll remind you on Wednesday about the actual launch so
that you don’t miss out on the early pricing:

Forum threads of note:
I’m real excited about a new tool I found that was mentioned in a
thread recently. The name of the tool is ScreenSteps. I reviewed
it here:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5853
Then I played around with it some more and produced a tutorial for
members that highlights the best parts of the forum, which I
thought would be helpful especially for new members.
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5892
But beyond that, I think it could be a great marketing tool for
those who are promoting Earn1KaDay as an affiliate. Send people to
the page mentioned in the thread, and they’ll be able to make a
much more informed decision about joining (through your Clickbank
affiliate link, since the tutorial doesn’t overlay your cookie or
send them to the PayPal signup page). I would hope that some of
the success stories and content that is highlighted in the tutorial
would make people want to join us.
Again, the tutorial is linked from the thread above (the 2nd link,
not the review), or you can just go straight here:

And beyond that, I believe it’s a tool that could be useful to
produce products of many types, so check it out. I don’t think
they have an affiliate program, but I did email them to ask.

We had a hacker/scraper join and visit the forum yesterday that had
to be banned. He was attempting to download everything.
Fortunately Steve Warwick caught him while I was enjoying
Thanksgiving dinner.
We’re looking at ways to prevent abuse of the site, I’d appreciate
your opinion on one way, by voting in this poll:

Special offer by Jonathan Paston:
http://www.earn1kaday.net/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5910
Jonathan approached me earlier in the week and asked me to review
his new product. Unfortunately with the short week and other
things on my plate at the time, I haven’t had a chance to do that,
but in looking at his sales letter, it looks like a very
interesting product.
He has a tool called the Secret Affiliate Commander that comes
complete with advanced cloaking, split testing, and tracking
capabilities. I’m looking forward to trying it out, as he says you
will be able to see where your traffic and conversions are coming
from. What that would mean to me is that I could pay more
attention to what’s working.
In fact, what comes to mind is one of my original MMS campaigns. I
was seeing a lot of clicks in one general group, and not a good
return on investment. So I slowed down one of my adgroups that was
experiencing a lot of clicks. It wasn’t until months later that I
found out that the adgroup I slowed down was actually the one
making the most profit. When I turned that on full bore and slowed
down the others, my income from that campaign went up from about
$10 a day to over $250 a day for quite a while.
Obviously I wish I would have had a tool like Jonathan promises his
to be, so that I could have tracked better.
Anyway, just a personal story, he’s giving Earn1KaDay members a
nice discount on it for a limited time, check out the thread
mentioned above.

That’s just a short review of some of the highlights, there is much
more going on all the time at the forum. Don’t be a stranger
there, that’s where the primary value of your membership is, after
all. We’re not there to chat so much (though there is a lounge
there if you want to unwind), we’re there to learn from each other,
and share with each other, and as you can see from the above sample
threads, there’s a lot of that happening.
