Earn1KaDay Updates For the Week

by 5buckguy

Another beautiful week in New Jersey, how has your part of the
world been? But you know what? Even on ugly days, Internet
marketing is a tremendous way to live, isn’t it? Especially if you
work at home and don’t have to go outside if you don’t want to.
That sure cuts down on commuting expenses, doesn’t it?

Personally, I choose to not work from home, I have a small office
not far away, but I could decide to stay home if I wanted to if it
got bad outside, since there’s nobody but myself to report to.

Moving on, here are this week’s new downloads:

Lazy Way to $300 Per Day:

This wasn’t my favorite report of all time, sort of disappointing
actually, but it’s a quick read and you might get an idea out of
it, in any event it will get you thinking about doing press
releases, which is a good thing.

Niche Brainstorm:

Finding profitable niches is always the biggest roadblock to
success, isn’t it? This report, written by one of our members,
should help a lot.

The Definitive Job Slayer Warrior’s Guide:

This is possibly the gem of the month, if you take the time to read
it all the way through. It could actually be one of those life
changing reports, possibly even a complete Internet marketing
education.

You might have heard of the thread at the Warrior Forum where they
were awarding 20 copies of John Reese’s Traffic Secrets 2.0 to
Warriors who gave the best posts about how newbies could make money
quickly. Did you have time to follow that thread to completion?
Personally I didn’t, it was huge.

The person who compiled this report took that thread and selected
the top 99 ideas, and compiled this 204 page report. Some ideas
were only a paragraph or two, some were complete business plans.

In the thread in our forum, I’m asking you to read this report, and
post in our thread what you think the top 3 ideas out of the 99
are. I think that should be a pretty lively discussion if I can
convince enough people to do that. And after that, we’ll try to
see what the consensus is and pick the top few ideas overall.

If you haven’t had much success yet, and if you’re floundering to
figure this all out, reading and analyzing this report, and taking
action on something you find inside, could easily be a giant step
to success.

Forum happenings:

Last week I announced the availability of a big set of downloads on
DVD, and we’ve had a fair number of orders already, maybe some of
them are starting to show up in the mailboxes of those who
purchased, and hopefully I didn’t mess anything up in compiling the
DVD.

I’ve had several requests as to what the contents are on the DVD
itself, so I made a list and updated the thread here:

Probably the biggest discussion of the week revolves around eBay
and its affiliate program, as many people are getting termination
notices. I’ve only seen one of our members report getting the
“pink slip”, but that’s at least one too many. Here’s the thread:
http://www.earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4771

So far it looks like a lot of BANS users bit the dust, I don’t know
of anyone who’s using any of our tools or templates getting
terminated, but this definitely isn’t a way to do business,
worrying about when the shoe’s going to drop. I’ve always been a
big promoter of the eBay affiliate program, and have made a lot of
income over the years with them.

It would be nice if the techniques which I’ve used, shared, and
recommended, and which has caused other software tools to evolve
from (RSS:os, BayRSS, RLPG) would remain viable, but at this point
I’m not going to be quite so enthusiastic in recommending that
anyone spend a lot of time building sites that are at risk because
of subjective algorithms that we have to insight into.

Much like the Google Slaps, things change all the time in this
business, and you have to be flexible. Above all you have to
develop multiple income streams. That’s part of what I like about
my 5 Bucks a Day strategy, in that it encourages you to have a
large list of short term projects, each of which will add to your
recurring income. That project list might be drawn from half a
dozen different business models, and they all aren’t going to bite
the dust at once, if ever.

However, if all my income would have been coming from AdSense when
Google terminated my account, or if all your income would be coming
from eBay if they terminate your account (heaven forbid), that
would be a disaster.

So keep diversifying. Do some article marketing, build some sites
that you could flip at some point if you needed cash, build one
more niche content sites and an email list for each, develop a few
products, maybe set up a niche membership site, etc. The more
types of income you have coming in, the more secure you’ll be.

Speaking of the Google Slap, I saw a post at the AdWords blog
yesterday about the “improvements” coming to the Quality Score
algorithm. I’m surprised nobody’s commented on my post yet, here
it is with a link to the Google blog post:

This thread started as a success story, but it’s evolved to a
relatively new member giving a quick idea about how to get traffic
to a page, which I thought was good enough to be turned into a WSO.
What do you think about Keith’s idea:
http://www.earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4756

The reason I posted my opinion that a few paragraphs could be
turned into a WSO is that I’ve seen a lot of WSO reports, and many
of them spend 20 pages with less information than that post. One
such example is the first download that I linked you to above, in
my opinion. Many of you have tricks and techniques that people
would pay to learn, why not turn that information into cash? Don’t
underestimate yourself, figure out what you can teach someone and
get out there, take action, and do it!

It’s always tough to just pick a few threads from the forum each
week, there’s so many, we get close to 1000 posts a week now, so
don’t rely on me to point you to all the good ones, get in there
and scout out your area of interest, there are tons of golden
nuggets, ideas, warnings, and important discussions that could
affect your income one way or the other.

Next week I’m going to be challenged for time. As many of you
know, we have a warehouse operation as well, where we ship out
products that we inventory. I have a person that runs the
warehouse, and he takes one week vacation a year. That’s happening
from Wednesday next week through the following Wednesday, so I have
to do what he does. In other words, physical work. Ugh. I’ll
still be around, just that I’ll have less time and probably be
crankier than normal, so bear with me.

Until next Friday, unless something important comes up and I need
to contact you sooner, as always, I wish you the best.

Dennis, the 5 Bucks a Day Guy.
