This has been a very busy week, and I have a lot to share with you.
So much as I’d like to chat about the great weather here in New
Jersey, I won’t. Especially since it’s cold and raining and foggy.
Here are this week’s downloads (some good stuff this week):
The best email (he) ever sent, and the psychology of why it worked:

A cute little report and a good idea for email marketers
Clickbank Niche Builder:
http://earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3216
Allows you to create themed sites around Clickbank products. Don’t
underestimate the value of this product because you’re getting it
here, I think the original sales price was $97
Beginner’s Guide to Mastering PHP:
http://earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3215
This was written by Warrior Jake Riley. A lot of people thought
Robert Plank was the author because Robert is a well known PHP
expert and he was selling this report. Actually Robert bought PLR
to it, like I did, so I would say if Robert thought it was good,
it’s good.
Using YouTube as a Market Research Tool
http://earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3222
This was contributed by Ian Sneddon, a member (isnedd), and is a
great idea for using YouTube for research. It’s only 7 minutes
long, though it might take you that long or more to download it,
it’s 30MB+ in size. Well worth the time.
Speaking of Ian, he was named Member of the Month for March. He
hasn’t been as visible in the forum as most of the prior winners,
but he’s done a lot that we benefit from, for example the interview
with Gary Nave that was contributed, the one with Gregg Gillies,
and more to come very soon. Here’s where you can give a high five
to Ian if you like:

Want some motivation? Are you still pursuing 1K days? Well,
craigo posted yesterday that he’s had two (count em, two) 3K days
in the last week. Way to go, Craig!:

One thing I’ve been working on this week (besides the all important
income taxes, ugh) is the conversion for eBay affiliate links from
CJ to the new eBay Partner Network. I think I finished all my
editor kit pages (over 2500) by doing a find and replace on them,
there’s a thread I started with the instructions, I’ll post that in
a minute.
Also, Rich has updated RLPG and RSS:os, he sent RLPG updates to all
owners, so if you didn’t get that, contact him. The RSS:os update
is in the forum, in the Essential Downloads section here:
http://earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15
I haven’t converted my RSS:os pages yet, I think a lot of them can
be done with a simple find and replace across the entire site,
rather than starting with a new LP Genie generation, so watch this
thread if you have a lot of converting to do, and as I do it, I’ll
provide tips:
http://earn1kaday.com/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3193
I’m not anxious to be the first on the block to convert, to be
honest, I want to make sure everything is being tracked properly
and the bugs worked out, but by mid month I hope to make that
conversion a priority, obviously to get done by the end of the
month. If I were you I’d hold off even downloading the framework
until I report back in that thread, unless you’re in a big hurry.
Why? So far I’ve updated the framework 4 times this week. One or
two minor bugs, and then a change to something else, and then I
made a change to the privacy.html page (I added a paragraph to
comply with eBay’s new TOS). So things are still evolving, and may
not be entirely settled.
If you don’t have a lot to convert, go ahead, it will probably work
perfectly, but if you have dozens or hundreds of sites, I’d say
hold off at least until mid-April if you can.
Which brings up a good point that Rich mentioned in the forum.
Give a good look to the terms and conditions. eBay has added some
wording here and there that wasn’t on their CJ TOS about what you
can and can’t do, so check it out. I’m not an attorney and can’t
advise you. I also can’t advise you to just plug in my standard
privacy policy from the framework. Every site differs, make sure
you’re comfortable with the framework modules that are provided
along with the skeleton, now’s a good time to give them a closer
look and modify them to suit your needs. I take no responsibility
for them being legally sufficient for all sites.
Azlan is working on his software (BayRSS or whatever the name is
now) and the others that he provides, but it isn’t ready yet that I
know of. Also, I spoke by email with Bobby Griggs, the developer
of AS:e, and he thinks that will be ready by mid month. I have a
lot of AS:e pages, and those should convert like a dream,
theoretically just install the new release of the software, change
a parameter or two, and not need to touch any of the pages (I hope).
OK, let’s move on …
I’ve mentioned reports by one of our members before, he’s someone
you can count on to put out a well written and well researched
report, hopefully I won’t get much argument there. I’m talking
about Dan Tierney, one of our members (he goes by the name daddyoh
on the Warrior Forum).
I haven’t seen much from Dan in the last couple months, except his
old reports that he keeps bumping to the top of the forum every
week or so. I guess the fact that he’s doing this means that
they’re continuing to sell well with little or no refunds, which
means that people are getting value. I saw yesterday that he
finally released a new report.
The report is about acquiring backlinks, something important for
all sites looking to improve their search engine ranking. If you
read the thread, you’ll sense that it’s not just full of fluff, it
really gets into the subject. I got my copy, and just finished
reading it (that’s why this week’s email is late, I wanted to
review it for you). The primary topic is acquiring one way
backlinks from posting comments on blogs in your niche,
specifically blogs that have “no-follow” turned off, in other words
do-follow links.
This report is 30 pages of pure meat and potatoes. Dan’s a
fantastic researcher. The report is full of links to outside
information, resources, etc., but it’s more than linking to
resources. Dan explores the “why”, “where”, and “how” to more
quickly find the one way backlinks that will help your own site or
blog. This is a fantastic report.
I haven’t given you the link to the WSO yet for a reason. I want
you to know, before you click on the button to go to the Warrior
Forum, that I’ve convinced Dan to give members a discount, like he
did before. I’m sure that will disappoint a few that probably
already purchased, but well, what can I say? So here’s the deal.
Dan hasn’t had a chance to set up a special page for us, so if you
go to the WSO thread, it will tell you to buy him a beer for
$15.00. Don’t do that!
Instead go to the WSO thread and buy him a beer for $12.00. He’ll
know what to do with it, he set up his script to recognize that a
$12 beer is a payment coming from our membership site, and you
should get automatic delivery of the report. Here’s the link to
the WSO:
http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=233788
Remember, buy him a beer for $12, not $15 (and don’t mention that
in the thread about the discount price or everybody will try to
pull that trick).
Bottom line is, if you’re looking for one way backlinks and
wondering how to get them quickly and more easily, this is a
technique that’s proven to work. Others have written about it, but
I haven’t read a report as comprehensive as this one on this
subject. I’ve tried finding do-follow links before, and I’ve found
it difficult to find the needles in the haystack that do not use
nofollow. Dan’s report will help make that task much easier.

That’s it for this week, have a great weekend and profitable week,
and as always I wish you the absolute best in all you do and receive.
