soon. I’ve had a fun, if not a terribly productive week, but
that’s necessary and inevitable occasionally. I’ll explain more in

this one is great! It was contributed by Scott (surfloot), and
you’ll love it, I guarantee you. It gave me a lot of good ideas,
and I’m looking forward to using the site he recommends.
There’s one more that I had hoped to provide this week, it’s the
Dime Sale script, but it isn’t quite ready, a new version of the
script is coming out, and you’ll have a choice between the original
and the other. The new one was supposed to be ready earlier in the
week, but it isn’t yet. Hang in there, it will be worth the wait.
Last week’s report about $100,000 in Under 60 Days sure got a
lively thread started for a possible group venture. There are a
lot of good ideas and good information in the thread about bulk
email marketing, and it might have been too large of a project to
easily manage without a clear leader yet (which I announced up
front that I don’t have the desire or time to lead), but from an
initial estimated cost of $5000 to do a bulk mailing to 10 million
people, the cost to enter the market, based on information in the
thread, is actually much lower (for fewer emails). If you haven’t

On a sad note, Gary Nave (zapzing) reported some challenges this
week. First CJ and eBay froze his commissions (it seems he was a
bit too successful because of the MMS challenge and it raised some
eyebrows), but he did get that worked out. But only in time to get
his account slapped by Google. Other members have had the dreaded
Google Slap as well, some were MMS’s, some weren’t, and some MMS’s
survived quite nicely. It’s a minefield out there, getting all the
information you can about what’s going on is important. Start here:

Now, I said I was having some fun this week. I sent out an email
to my other lists but not to this one about Qassia. I assumed
(wrongly) that everyone here is on my email list for Instant Cash
Generators anyway (but that’s wrong, I realized), so I didn’t want
to send duplicate emails since you’d be getting this one anyway.
Qassia is a new Web 2.0 site that’s in beta test, and it looks like
the growth is explosive. It’s sort of an article site, but not
really, it publishes what it calls “intel”, which they define as a
tidbit of information about a person, company, place, event, or
thing. So you can post snippets of information as well as full
articles there, the place is much more relaxed than an article
directory.
For example, instead of having to get an article approved by a
place like ezinearticles.com and having to jump through those hoops,
with Qassia you submit your intel, and it goes live after 10 other
Qassia members screen it and rate it. That usually takes 10 to 15
minutes and your intel is live. Your intel can have links to your
site, just as any other article can.
But here’s the cool thing. Qassia pays you (sort of, but don’t get
excited yet) by adding Qassia dollars to your “net worth”. You get
paid up to $15 to screen intel, you get paid on average $100 to add
intel to the site (more if it’s exclusive to Qassia and good
quality), and you get paid to refer members to Qassia.
I’ve had some fun screening intel for them, it gets sort of
addictive, the pages show intel that’s waiting to be screened, you
read it, you rate it, and you get paid (not cash, unfortunately).
I’ve seen some real interesting articles in my screening time.
Though you don’t want to waste all day doing it, it’s a nice break,
and it might help you build up your net worth to get extra link
juice.
If you have a high enough net worth, the site(s) your profile links
to get posted on the Qassia home page. I made the cut so far on my
three main sites, and I’m getting traffic from them every day.
Some of the people I referred this week are doing well, also.
Right now Qassia is in beta test and they say they’re being more
generous now with the payments than they will be when they launch
(which should be soon, maybe even this month), so now’s the time to
join and start building your net worth. You need to be invited in

Qassia offers some interesting opportunities for a lot of link
love. In addition to being on the home page if you work hard
enough, your intel will have live links, as well the profile of the
person who referred you will link to you (so you want to be
referred to someone who’s listed on the home page if possible,
hint, hint), as well as the profiles of the people you referred
will link to you (so it will also help if you refer a possible
Qassia superstar).
I expect that Qassia will enjoy a big buzz very soon when it
launches. It might not get the kind of traffic that Digg does yet,
but then again you never know what will happen in the next six
months. I’m betting 6 months from now, those with a lot of quality
Qassia links will be very happy campers. So check it out:
