and my desk has never been stacked so high. Good and bad,
good that I have plenty to do, bad that it makes it tough to
focus, but I’ll have to be strong about that.

I got an email from SteveG that he’s running a WSO today for
Ad Infiltration, it was a quick sellout from his forum posting last
week, and I know some of you are waiting for it, so watch for it.
Speaking of which, and this ties in with Steve’s techniques a bit,
as you’ll see, is this, which made me very happy.
The phone rang a few days ago. I answered. The caller asked for
me and I said, “speaking”, and he simply said “Thank you”. For
a short while I was speechless, waiting for him to say more, and
then I said “You’re welcome, for what?”.
“I got my first 1K day, and I have a gift for you”.
The caller went on to say that he had been a member of Earn1KaDay,
but hadn’t been posting in the forum because when he started, he
just couldn’t get anything done. While he was around he did though
evidently latch onto Mini Money Sites, and the result was that he
couldn’t focus with everything else there, so he went away.
And he started building sites, using MMS techniques, campaign
blasting, testing, and so on. And now he’s making $1000 a day,
just from eBay income pretty much. Not even AdSense.
So I had to ask him, since he had been away and not taking advantage
of Earn1KaDay for a while …
“How much of your success can you attribute to what you learned at
Earn1KaDay”, hoping to hear that it was a big help, but the answer
floored me.
The question again: “How much of your success can you attribute to
what you learned at Earn1Kaday”?
Answer: “All of it”.
I was speechless.
He was calling to thank me, and to give me something that he had
developed, which was a small series of software scripts that he uses
to bypass the AdWords one-url rule for linking to affiliate sites like
Clickbank and amazon.com, and to track the keywords that comes
from the AdWords traffic.

I’m not telling this story to brag, though I do feel pretty good about it.
I’m telling this story because it’s coming to the end of the year, and
many of us use this period to set the goals for the coming year, and
figuring out what went wrong, if anything, this year.
This is what I want you to remember, and it goes back to what I wrote
in “5 Bucks a Day”.
For many of you, you already have the knowledge and skills you
need to succeed. What it takes is setting your goals, figuring out
what you want to accomplish on a weekly basis (your project list),
and focusing on that like crazy.
Gary, the caller, did approximately 80 MMS sites this year. Of them,
39 were winners, a pretty fair percentage, to be honest, they all won’t
be winners, so don’t be discouraged if the first one or two aren’t.
If you figure he’s making $1000 a day now, and he built 80 sites this
year, that means each site averaged out to $12 a day for him, even
considering the losers that aren’t making a dime anymore because
they were “fired”.
And yes, he did have to cope with Google Slaps and everything that
we’ve all had happen to us as well.
$12 a day is $4380 a year. Can you make a new mini money site
every week? That’s a pretty fair weekly wage if you can, but the
members that went through the challenges earlier were making up
to 10 or 20 sites a week.
If you can make 10 mini money sites a week, and they can average
$12 a day, that’s $43,800 a year. Gosh, you could probably take
some time off after doing that awhile, can’t you?
Sure, maybe more time is necessary than those members were giving
to niche selection, keyword research, etc., but still … if you only do
one MMS a week, and it averages out to $4380 a year, that’s not a
shabby week.
I’m not saying drop what you’re doing and start cranking out mini
money sites, because many of you are busy writing e-Books,
building membership sites, and other profitable ventures, and again,
the key that Gary demonstrated as crucial was focus. He decided
what he wanted to do was put together a bunch of MMS’s and he
focused on doing just that.
Maybe what you’ll focus on is building a new niche membership
site every month. Or writing half a dozen articles a day using Bum
Marketing techniques. Or putting together videos for sale. Or
setting up a bunch of niche blogs. Or, or, or …
Lots of choices, too many to list or count.
Oh, yeah, I mentioned the scripts that Gary was providing us.
I will be testing them out to make sure they work on my server
like they worked on his, and when I’m satisfied, I’ll upload them to
the members area. Gary is providing them with no support included,
so I just want to make sure I understand them enough to provide
answers to questions once I put them out there.
I just wanted to give you something to think about as you prepare
to set your goals for 2008. You’re in the right industry (Internet
marketing). Most of you have the skills you need already. You
have the tools and support here at the forum.
All that might be lacking for those looking for more is commitment
and focus.
Make the commitment now, you won’t regret it when it reaches
this time next year.
