New Downloads, a Member Special, and a Lesson

by 5buckguy

How’s your week ending up? Hopefully profitable, or at least
hopefully some progress towards one of your goals. My goal has
been to get out of my store space and into my new office space
by the end of September (a hard deadline, my lease is up then),
and it’s going to be a challenge.

I have no choice but to get it accomplished, so the next two weeks
I might be a bit frazzled and unable to concentrate on anything
else. It’s going to be very painful because I probably have around
$50,000 of inventory at original cost that I’m going to have to chuck
into the dumpster because I have no room to move it to. The bigger
reason is that it’s virtually worthless now anyway, some could be
sold on eBay for nickels on the dollar, but I have better use of my
time to do that.

There’s a similar lesson we learn as we become more experienced
in Internet marketing. The veterans appreciate the value of their time,
and outsource the tasks that can be done more economically. That’s
why the best writers are constantly busy at relatively high rates, even
though you could get the same job done by bidding on eLance or a
similar site. Sometimes that defeats the whole purpose. If you’re
going to save yourself 20 hours of writing effort, why spend 10 hours
listing a project on eLance, reading samples of a dozen bidders, and
take a chance that the work will be crappy, and then have to spend
time in the end of run the work through Copyscape anyway.

Makes no sense to me, that’s why I recommend using proven talent
if you’re looking for a job to be done, whether it’s article writing, sales
letter copywriting, graphics work, script installation, etc.

We do have proven talent in the membership, if you’re looking for
some help post a thread in the services forum, you might not get the
cheapest price, but there will be much less risk of a shoddy job.

Speaking of talent, our member Tommy McLaughlin has just
pre-launched what (to me at least) is a great eBay book, called
“Powerseller Niches”. Oh how I wished I had this back when my main
income was from eBay, it would have been great to have all this in
one spot. I did find some good niches for myself, but it was long and
hard, and yes, in the end it was very profitable.

Now Tommy has a book full of niches that can be exploited. He sent me
a review copy last week, it looks good. He’s going to be launching it
soon at $47, but as a members special, he’s got a special page for us
for only $17:

That price won’t be available very long, if you’re into eBay selling in any
way, you should grab it at that price.

New additions to the members download area this week were:

he posted it earlier for review to a few people, and has now released
it at ICG, which I reposted over at the forum here:

Great stuff, preparing you for his launch of Mafioso Marketing,
which I’m sure will be a huge product in the very near future. But
whether or not you want to buy the product, you can get huge
value out of the videos in the link above.

Have a great week, I wish you nothng but the best!
