This is a large package totalling about 1/2 Gig of files with MP3′s, MP4′s and PDF’s. There are videos and audios of most sections, but only a couple of transcripts. But, most of the videos are quite short (from less than 2 minutes with a few up to 30 minutes), so that’s not too bad.

The course includes sections on Keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, directory submissions, press releases, outsourcing, and getting clients.

The videos and audios are clear; the presenters easy to understand.But, the explanations are lacking details I would need, and some are muddled. Some words are used incorrectly (over-compensation instead of compensation) but you will sometimes know what they mean after listening to how they use the words for just a few sentences. For some terms, however, I don’t know that most people would get the intended meaning at all.

A couple of the videos cover using tools which they use and recommend. The presenter gives his own views based on experience with them.

Formatting a Press Release is explained well in the audio and the video, but an example of the format is not shown.

The Press Release template they supply just has the text of the Press release and does not show where the supplementary information is, which is mentioned in the recordings and needed by the services you use to distribute the release and the media that may want to use it.

The Client section is more detailed than most others and has a transcript of the audio. The various sections cover a lot of material. Each of the presenters focuses on their special areas.

It is a good overview of SEO practices for your own sites, but I would want more detail because I am not experienced with SEO.

If you look to build a business doing this for your clients or even fixing what other people have done, you will need some background or to ask plenty of questions from the presenters..

The presenters are talking from experience, but some of the instructions are not detailed enough for someone like me who admits to not being experienced with using SEO techniques.

For instance, I still don’t understand why, when you are working on improving your site or a client’s site in a high competition niche, you would introduce keyword terms which are not attracting any volume above 1 or 2 searches a month, even though they might pay highly if you get the first couple of positions on the page which the search engine produces when someone searches for exactly that term.

This may be clearer if you have some experience, but there are several things for which the instructions seem to lack enough detail.

Some of the explanations are muddled. For instance, when talking about “age of the domain” being a factor in ranking, the presenter said, “If you don’t have a new domain, you can over-compensate by ….” I think he meant an aged or older domain on which they have maintained a website.

The instruction for the <h> tag is another confusing one. I believe they know what they mean but should give more detail for the rest of us.

They do give information about keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, how to get clients, and out-sourcing some of the SEO work.

I finished reading “Q&A Formula” and examining the included Excel file. 

The PDF is…
- 5 pages of title, table of contents, intro, legal, conclusion
- 15 pages of main content
- 2 pages of references

The spreadsheet is…
- 2 tabs
- list of the same references
- sample worksheet to use and fill in when you apply the method

Anything particularly awesome?
- No.   But good content, probably worthy of a $7 report (price of first 50 copies)
- most of the material is simply the result of basic research, which would take hours on my own,  so that makes it worth some money to me
- some good tips on how to get the most out of the method
- some cautions to be aware of
- no quantitative claims of success are in the PDF, just some qualitative ones

Overall Recommendation:

- if I had a list that I think is interested in creating backlinks, this product is average in my mind;   I have come across the idea before, but the product creator adds a bit more meat and tips to it

- this is NOT a super thorough and detailed “step by step” how to book;  it assumes the reader knows at least the beginner basics of what backlinking is, and how one signs up for accounts at various sites, etc.

- The product’s creator could have easily (ignoring time element!!!) added some videos stepping through the process;  The PDF could have also shown screen shots of the actual process of answering questions – that would have made this a product that more people would get excited about, but would that have helped the creator’s price point or sales?

…It is the main reason I have only said “average.”

This is a very easy to read, well-written, well laid out report of 23 pages (except that he uses the word parentheses for quote marks.) It’s very upbeat with some impressive claims, though he claims to have some impressive success, including this…

My most important client was Primerica of the Citi Bank family. I got their homepage ranked #1 for the search term “financial services” without the parenthesis.

He tells people how to start out using free resources, so that should make it attractive to just about everyone, but he does make a lot of recommendations for various services as well. 

Some of the information isn’t that novel, but is good bread and butter tactics. He does have some interesting twists on some tactics.
