The author suggests how to improve the profitability and responsiveness of your email list(s). The first topic is

building relationships with your list; short,medium or long-term.

Then, the most important mistake that email marketers make is discussed – Building Your Brand and what some may do which may damage that. 

There is information about whether to use emails provided, knowingly or unknowingly, by others. This is something I’ve seen discussions about this week, so the author is covering current topics.

How to get into their Inbox. This section may be missing some information which the author intended to include. It is a bit short,The author mentions there are more suggestions, but then starts the section about minimizing the chances of hitting the spam filters of the subscribers and the major email services like Gmail.

There is, among other topics, suggestions about what you can do about unresponsive subscribers and possible ways to reduce some spam complaints.

The author does not suggest that the suggestions will fix everything, every time, but I think they are real-world usable and based on experience.

Suggestions about subject lines and then formatting tactics which can affect the readers’ engagement with your writing with reference to the different types of niches.

Then, there are suggestions about tying your content to current popular topics in the wider world of celebrities or popular events.

There are also suggestions about other subjects which can be the basis of emails in almost any niche and some which need some special care. Why some marketers use extreme topic lines is also mentioned.

The discussion about how often to mail your subscribers is one of the longer sections and gives some good ideas from different sides of some frequently discussed factors.

The author keeps the material easy to read and on-topic with most sections fairly short and some a bit longer but a comfortable read with useful information.

Each section gives good coverage of the topic and the author states the preferred choices based on experience. There are also suggestions about how to come up with topics for niche emails.

Overall Impressions:

I believe this is good value. If you already know a few things covered, keep reading because there is a lot and some old ideas may be used together to improve results, and you may find an alternative view about something you have been doing,or not doing, which gives you better results.

“Email Conversion Secrets” is the O.T.O. It is a shorter, 38 page pdf ebook.

The focus is how to turn freebie seekers to buyers. If you can do this, you will never run out of possible customers because there are millions of freebie seekers!

The author acknowledges that getting sales that stick from freebie seekers can be slow and frustrating, but believes the suggestions can turbo-charge the process.

The author doesn’t claim to sell to all freebie fans, but explains the view of the freebie mentality and the basic method for getting sales from them and turning some into more frequent buyers.

The author explains a three-step process behind every sale and then the way to get more people all the way through that path, with suggestions about how you might speed the process with some prospects.

Overall Impressions:

I believe this is worth recommending. Success rates will vary, but I think the small investment could be worthwhile. The variety of tips discussed may also suggest more ideas while you are reading which could be particularly suitable for your own use in the niches you know or are developing.

“The Ultimate Fortune Chase” is a collection of interviews with 14 established marketers. These interviews cover a range of topics, mostly focusing on fundamental IM topics like list building (starting from scratch), product creation, keeping the relationship with your list going strong, affiliate marketing, video, driving traffic… you name it, and someone in this series has talked about it  

All interviews follow a typical format, starting with the story behind the person being questioned, right from the beginning when they were looking for elusive IM success, leading up the story of their first successes and how they kept the ball rolling from there. Each interview ends with references to where you can find out more about the business of the person who was interviewed, and I found some special offers hidden in this part on a couple of occasions. The meat of the interview typically incorporates standard mindset ideas (focus, giving value, keeping away from short-term trends/plans, etc) and concrete actionable strategies.

The product does cover plenty of ground, despite some redundancy across interviews (only to be expected, as the fundamentals are the same – it’s good to see some consistency). I won’t be able to go over it bit by bit because there is a fair amount of content, but I will share my overall impressions:

Pros…

• Has real-world information
• Begins at the beginning, so that’s reassuring, and we all love a good story that we relate to!
• The information is based on experience and not theory.

Cons…

• Since there is plenty that’s covered, it’d be nice to have a mindmap guide to see what is where. As such, this would take someone plenty of time to dig into, unless you’re super-organized about multi-tasking and listening to your audio files while in the car or at the gym!
• I read the transcripts, and often the grammar is off by a bit, and there are some amusing errors
• Although a lot of the interviews are about battling info overload and overwhelmed, I felt a bit overwhelmed by this very product – a bit ironic! Just having a mindmap/overview/guide to what is covered where, and encouragement to pick one thing and run with it would help, in my opinion.

Overall Impressions…

Overall – there is some solid advice here, and I like that they advocate good stuff – like actually providing value, quality – instead of promoting shortcuts. There’s good mindset advice and you can dig out some good strategies from deep inside the transcripts or the audios… but it may take you a while to consume it all. A good reference-style product and valuable and accessible information for those who are starting out, probably not earth-shattering for the more experienced.

The main product talks about affiliate marketing.  It covers affiliate marketing good but only talks about instant cash a couple of times.  One is Warrior Plus, and I don’t remember what the other is.  He talks about Click Bank (not instant cash).

In one video he goes over using Easy Redirect Script (he gives an affiliate link for it) to keep people from stealing your commission.

The OTO products.

He goes over list building as an “Instant Cash Method”.  He says to contact somebody who has a list, offer your product to them for free or low cost if they will mail your offer, and have an email opt-in on the download page. Then, you can email the list additional offers to make money that way.

He goes over Product Creation as an “Instant Cash Method”.  He gives a couple quick methods to create a product.  He also advises spending money on products in the niche you are going for to become an expert.  A lot of people don’t have the money to buy 3 books from Amazon and/or several magazines.

He goes into forum marketing to find information about your niche in both List Building and Product Creation.

Overall Impressions:

Overall, it is a good product.  A lot of sound business practices.  But not really about making Instant Cash.  To me, making Instant Cash is something that you can start in the morning and have money a couple hours or so later.

If I had paid for this thinking I was going to get methods on getting Instant Cash I would be a little upset.  If it was my list, I wouldn’t recommend it as a ‘Instant Cash’ product but as a solid product on making money that you could build a business on.
