I learned long ago that you can reach any goal as long as you put your mind to it. There are famous celebrities and entrepreneurs who came from nothing because they worked hard at achieving their goals instead of whining and making excuses. The reason that a lot of people don’t make it is because they want everything to be given to them on a silver platter. I am so happy to be a subscriber to your newsletter and I even purchased a couple of your products because you give valuable content for free that many Internet Marketers would otherwise charge for. Even though I can’t afford to pay for high ticket coaching and training right now, I am working really hard so that I can make it to your level or higher, no offense. You will be doing us all a favor by not giving anything else away because you started from the bottom like many of us to become where you are today. Keep up the good work.

I thought I should share my thoughts on the thirty day challenge since you brought it up.

Yes, it is free. Yes, you do learn some things.

I was as green as you can get when trying to start out in this biz of marketing or just learning, back in the end of 2008. The thirty day challenge has a site up for the 2008 so I spent all of my time there trying to learn. I watch all the videos and tried to apply, and no results. Then the 2009 season came up and in I believe in August of every year and just went through the course and still could not get a grasp on certain things.

What the TDC don’t tell you is, is wordpress. Instead they make it a point for you to go and sign up to wordpress direct, Ha, using their affiliate link.

It took me more than several months to come to a realization to find something else, like wordpress.org and to use the available free plugins they have. Which I never knew that existed.

Ed Dale does alot of talking for him to get to the point, sorry Ed.

I had to find something new. So, I searched the net for someone new and and came across the site, Niche Profit Classroom.

The NPC gives you 2 niche packs a month to download plus tons of videos to learn from and the right hand of Adams personal assistant is great, George.

Yes, it costs $67 a month. But the knowledge that you can learn from is tremendous.

A free course is not as good as you might think. You have to ask yourself is:

Where is the best place to start from if I am a complete Newbie and know nothing out there about internet marketing?

Let me start out by saying that I am still in the learning mode and really haven’t made much money at all. But if I would have found the NPC first I believe I would have been ahead of the game by now.

There are so many marketers out there and finding that right person to look at in teaching you something about internet marketing is hard to do and hopefully you might get lucky and land on that persons page, but won’t know if that person is the right person to be a mentor to you.

Most of all marketers out there is basically trying to sell you stuff all the time through emails and it does get overwhelming when your spending all day just going through your inbox and then clicking the links, after link, after link, it just never ends.

Well, that is my thoughts about the TDC, and the NPC. So, if your a complete newbie, you should check out the NPC and start taking a bunch of notes.

For you newbies out there, you should first go and get download-helper, a firefox plugin for your browser, that will help to.

I hope this has helped someone out there.

Agreed! Absolutely true that we undervalue anything that is free, that it isn’t as good as something you’ve paid for and quickly move onto the next… free thing.

I have been giving free advice and support for almost 3 years now to people in the relationship niche.

It all started when I began marketing a break up book as an affiliate, and people started emailing me begging for advice because the people they bought products from never answered their emails.

Imagine that.

I tried my best to keep up with the emails, and it grew into a Blog, and then a forum.

This is all free, but there are rules, and a step-by-step plan you need to follow in-order to remain a forum member.

I am a nice guy, but I mean business.

Since I have been working online I have lost a lot of money.

I chock it up to paying my dues.

I was ripped-off A LOT.

But it made me more determined.

So I am grateful I was tested.

I have refunded a few products, but it was because I didn’t like them, and don’t use them.

Here’s my point…

You wouldn’t believe the bullsh*t I go through with some of these people who I am helping for free.

Oh, wait a minute, yes you would.

You covered that in point #2…lol

I created a community all by myself where people are helping each other as they deal with the same situation together.

It wasn’t easy, but I am glad I did it, because I help people “help themselves”.

And that is the key.

You can’t help someone who doesn’t want to help them self.

The funny thing is some of these people have spent tons of money (not with me unfortunately, lol), and they still won’t take action.

What do I do?

I kick their lazy crybaby ass out of our forum.

After all, they can still read the forum, and follow the plan, they just can’t bring the rest of the members down with their negative posts/attitude.

This might seem mean, but I have received emails from some of these people thanking me for doing it.

They said it was what they needed to wake up, and start to taking action.

Action = Results

Some people have a different (not so positive) reaction to tough love…lol

So, I completely understand what you are talking about Rachel.

I will dish out the tough love as long as I have to, to help people kick ass, not kiss it.

BTW – In all my years online, Dennis is the only person I have done business with that answers his emails as fast as I do.
